Quote# 134201

(in response to a YouTube video titled "Three Reasons Gay Marriage Vote Will Fail #Australia")

What does gay marriage supporters and rapists have in common?
They won't take "no" for an answer.
What is the difference?
The rapist leaves after.

The worst part is that he's not even right about rapists. Most of them are teachers, cousins, priests, and bosses; they threaten or force you over and over again.

Grey Rook

@pyro: Indeed. As usual, the fundies demonstrate less knowledge of the world than my cat has.

The rapist leaves after.?

I submitted this quote & there's no question mark after "after." So either I made a mistake or it was edited by whoever's in charge here.

Wow. People wanting equal rights won't shut up and go away. How unusual.

You never saw women demanding the vote after they were turned down the first time. Or blacks. Or people seeking religious freedom. Or any group seeking their just rights...

That's how you can tell the gay-rights people are just like rapists, not taking 'no' for an answer, like everyone else does.

Thinking Allowed

Um...that's only 2 reasons.

Also, rapists don't give a fuck, about consent. Also, there is no contract involved. Gay marriage on the other hand is two consenting adults in a contract.

What do Fundies and colds have in common?
They make me sick.
What is the difference?
The cold leaves after.

@Chris: It has something to do with YouTube comments. I edited it.

If you have to compare the right to marry with a horrible sex-based form of assault, then you are a major idiot.

BlyndSDragon is the one responding in the comments section to a YouTube video titled "Three Reasons Gay Marriage Vote Will Fail #Australia". Not the one saying s/he'll give 3 reasons.

Happy Atheist

Well, the vote went through, with two thirds predictably in favour of same-sex marriage.

Now it's up to the aussie government to listen to the will of the people.

61.6%, Specifically. I'm happy for you guys.

Three Reasons Gay Marriage Vote Will Fail #Australia

Well, you are now forced to take "Yes" for an answer.

As near as dammit the same result - 61.6% - as that a couple of years ago in Ireland (62%). What's the difference indeed.

Reality rapes you. [/Soviet Russia]

Where does that leave even your right to think the way you do...?!

7,817,247 reasons why Gay Marriage Vote Wins. One reason why you FAIL.

It's a happy day for us Down Under! I'm SO PROUD to be an Australian today!

Your rape fantasies won't spoil the party. Especially since everyone knows what a little bitch you are, down on your knees in all the men's rooms and saunas in town. NOBODY will believe it was non-consensual buggery. So stop talking with your mouth full.

Cheers for that!

What does gay marriage supporters and rapists have in common?

They won't take "no" for an answer.

Kind of like how people like Roy Moore are.

What is the difference?
The rapist leaves after.

Josh Duggar didn't leave after. Most rapists knew victim

Over sixty percent of Australians voted in favor of same sex marriage.

You mean the vote that went to YES, with a significant majority?

What do homophobes and Nazis have in common?
They are both carbon-based life-forms.
(Oh, and they are often one and the same person.)

Leave after what? The marriage?
Most people are raped by someone they know well, often the husband/boyfriend, sometimes father or brother. They don't leave.

Besides, gender-neutral marriage laws are all about more people being able to say "I do". Why would they take No as answer there?

Yes, now the koalas are going to marry kangaroos. And I'm off to marry the Harbour Bridge. That's some of the things naysayers have said about this, might be worth a fundie quote here later on.

At the moment I'm celebrating too hard, we all are. YIPPEEE!!!
