anyway Wonder Woman liking men is literally a conversion/rape fantasy.
#doesn't matter if she's straight or bi #it's disgusting misogynistic lesbophobic and distinctly male either way #its fucking absurd that people don't get this #(also her liking men is just straight up stupid #she's essentially from a separate species #one in which men don't exist #she lived for centuries not even knowing about men #and you're gonna tell me it's even possible for her to experience attraction to them??? nah) #(all of this is also true of the asari btw)

PS:
My knowledge of Mass Effect is purely coincidental, but aren't Asari a parthogenetic lifeform who mate with other species for the purpose of horizontal gene transfer (as well as a lifespan that far exceeds that of most other species in the setting)? In other words, it would not make no sense at all to apply human notions of sexuality to them due to having a fundamentally different form of reproduction.
@Pharaoh
As I recall they mate with other species (well I would not say mate as that tends to sound more of a logical science term where most of them tend to fall in love with other species though their society looks very ill upon 2 Asari getting together likening it to incest) as a means to get both Asari and the others' genes. Though the child will be an Asari, she will have genes from the other parent as well
Wut?
Also, to the previous posters, not to forget that it is said that Asari are technically not females at all. They merely look like that to humans (and for sake of simplicity use female pronouns because of that), but they are a monogendered species that can mate just as easily with a female as with a male because of their unique reproduction method. It's even been implied that treating them as pure females beyond that is even insulting to them.
So saying that it makes no sense for them to be attracted to males makes no sense by itself. Especially since they are pretty much omnisexual already. Being just as much attracted to a Hanar, than to an Elcor, than to a Human.

Actually they don't transmit genes from their partners at all, instead using their genome to randomize their own a little (it is never clarified in what kind of way this would help them stave off all the negative aspects of asexual procreation though). That's why all Asari children are still Asari, even if the "father" or "mother" was human.
In regards to the OP: The asari are parthogenic lifeforms and if two of them get child together (which is frowned upon because of the seeming accumulation of certain unwanted mutations like the Ardat-Yakshi) the one who actually got pregnant is seen as the "mother" and the other as the "father of it. Shepard is even scolded and called an "anthropocentric asshole" for saying that humans would consider both as "mothers" by an Asari at one point in the game. I think that's the problem here: If you OP think that Wonder Woman and the Asari should be treated as other species, then why do you interpret everything they do from an anthropocentric point of view?
@ChrisBP747
Exactly, that's what I meant with the whole "treating them as pure females beyond that is even insulting to them." Considering you're deliberatly treating them like something they're not.
Wasn't it Legion that once said that to treat other species by the standards of your own, even benign anthropomorphizing, is inherently racist?
EDIT: I think I found the exact quote: ""No two species are alike. All must be judged based on their own merits. To compare another species to one's own is racist. Even benign anthropomorphism."
Someone hasn`t actually played any of the mass effect games I see.
@Pharaoh Bastethotep
You, Sir are pretty much correct(except for the Krogan, they had comparable lifespans, as irrelevant as it is to the topic)
Getting back to Wonder Woman... The Amazons know what men are, which is why men are banned from setting foot on Themyscira (you can't reject something without knowing it exists). They worship the Greco-Roman pantheon, which is headed by a male god. Wondy may not have encountered a living man before, but she knew what they were before she left for the outside world.
Also, thank you for proving that heterophobia is an actual thing.
Species 8472 rape you if they so much as touch you: their DNA invades & rewrites every cell in your body.
And as they have several genders, in Soviet Fluidic Space, separate species assimilate you .
Confused?
