I thought Archie explained it well in his first paragraph. Like a lot of us here at NM, when we were young and optimistic we felt, regardless of skin color, everyone should be treated the same. You treat everyone with respect you get respect back. We allowed ourselves to believe that the white man keep niggers down with Jim Crow laws and shitty job opportunities and they were just as smart as everyone else. There was a time I was actually ashamed when my white neighbors and relatives spewed jokes about them.

So we opened ourselves to having personal experiences with "African-Americans" and over time, your enthusiasm for a color-blind utopia erodes away. You give them respect, they treat you like shit. They are not honest enough with themselves or other niggers, so they are never straight with you. Every nigger that enter our house, stole something often from my own kids. They burned down houses in my neighborhood so we got the fuck out.

You discover: They don't act like us. They don't think like us. They don't respect property. They don't know what friendship is or their concept of it is pretty fucking screwed. Like Archie, at some point your eyes are finally open and you join Niggermania. Call it therapy from Post-Traumatic Nigger Syndrome.
