Quote# 134997

Medicaid is unequivocally the worst healthcare system in the developed world, so why is it being celebrated as a lifeline to the poor? I, as a pastor, live below the poverty line technically, but there is undeniable proof that the health results of Medicaid are no better than those with poor people who have no insurance. Therefore, trillions of taxpayer dollars are being spent to no avail. --William Grimes (talk) 16:07, 7 November 2017 (UTC)
Apparently Medicaid in my state will cover “cross-sex hormones” for sinful transvestites but not acid reflux medication in my state. Is that not messed up?! --William Grimes (talk) 15:29, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
It is messed up that it does not cover acid reflux medication, but I don't see why you needed to bring up transvestites. Also, for your information, a transvestite is different to a person who is transsexual or transgender. CowHouse (talk) 15:35, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
I think it is important to consider that Obamacare has raised health insurance premiums tremendously, and in doing so has forced more Americans than ever in the Medicaid program, which is objectively the worst health care program in the developed world. The fact that they will pay for enabling a lifestyle of sinful delusions regardless of whatever you want to call it, but will not treat legitimate medical conditions shows how liberal Obamacare has its priorities way out of whack. It is also true that pumping men with estrogen tremendously increases the chance for heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and other conditions, and proves how inefficient government and the liberal agenda is. --William Grimes (talk) 16:00, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
So are you saying that a single-payer healthcare system would be better, since that's very common in the developed world? Nobody "pumps men with estrogen" anyway. L?¨ÿ?n?¨n?¨R?¨ (¨??ä?l?¨k?¨)¨ (¨c?¨ö?n?¨??r?¨ï?b?¨s?¨)¨ @ 16:36, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
All government run healthcare programs have shown to be total failures, but Medicaid is of course by far the worst offender, and the main thing that Obamacare accomplished was kicking people off better private programs and onto the subpar Medicaid program. While we indeed are pumping men full of estrogen in this country. Isn’t that what the liberal ideology of Transgenderism is all about? We’ve made men so effeminate through the feminist movement and by suppressing boys with Ritalin as the public schools treat boys like defective girls. Therefore, men now think they are women and seek to engage in experimental medical prosecutes that are detrimental to physical and mental health. We need to treat our mentally ill far better in this country, and RINOs like McCain who voted against repealing the Obamacare monstrosity aren’t helping. --William Grimes (talk) 17:27, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

“But there is undeniable proof that the health results of Medicaid are no better than those with poor people who have no insurance.”

Uh, what?! That makes absolutely no sense. Medicaid actually allows poor people to have access to healthcare.

Medicaid is unequivocally the worst healthcare system in the developed world,

Since William Grimes says and believes that, it must be a fantastic healthcare system. And the evidence is against Grimes

NonProphet

The only reason I could even go to the hospital or get new glasses (which are necessary for me to do anything, since I'm severely nearsighted) is because "Obamacare" gave me insurance that I didn't have to pay for (having zero income and pre-existing conditions made it impossible to get coverage otherwise).

Granted, Trump stripped those benefits so badly that I can now only get one pair of so-cheap-they're-literally-held-together-with-glue glasses a year (no replacements or spares), or a single PAIR of disposable contacts, and I can't get the hand surgery that I require in order to be able to carry on day-to-day life since I was in an accident a few months ago... but maybe I should just go without, since apparently it's better to be permanently blind & to have lost my finger (and possibly my hand) than to have glasses or urgent-care treatment at all.

Bloody idiot.

Further proof that Billy Grimy = The FAIL Jimmy Wilcum:

As everyone knows, the latter was desysoped from Conservapoodia: by Andy Schaftafly, no less. And when one is too wingnutty for that place, ergo...!

...inevitably it would gravitate to the only place that was similar to assuage it's nutzoid - certainly Attention Whoring - obsessions: RationalWiki.

Between then and more recently, it left RW: but not before the former appeared on the scene:

https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/User:William_Grimes

The inevitable result? Colour nobody surprised.

And as we know, the latter was wont to use the same 'WOOOOOOOOOOOO!'s & 'OWWWWWWWWWWWWW!'s as the former. Thus the fact they are both one and the same in the same Schizo package?

Shocker!

Strange then, that Donald Fart admires a certain half-American that it brought back into the Oval Office a bust of it's object of admiration:

Who not only approved of the National Health Service instituted just three years after WWII by the Labour government of Clement Attlee, Winston Churchill had even laid down plans for such before then: when he was Prime Minister.

A Conservative who was all for what the OP rails against; indeed: Raygun's Poodle - who had a ladyboner for Privatisation - knew that the NHS was a political 'Third Rail': so much as touching it would result in political Death.

I guess our resident rightist retard is in two minds: in more ways than one.

Jimbo/Billy's gonna have to do a lot of thinking about the name of their s(h)ite: if it doesn't end up arguing with itself.

The Conservatives here in Britain are tearing each other apart right now: how many will lose their seats over those who'll have to pay for health insurance when they go on holiday to Europe, even so much as the Costa Del Sol: when before this whole 'Brexit' bollocks any medical bills were covered anywhere within the EU by the NHS: and merely via taking along with their visa-free passports an E-111 form.

Frankly, to keep their seats these Conservatives will be wishing that Brexit never happens.

But the OP(s) will be needing to change the name of their pissant 'Wiki'-esque s(h)ite.

"We’ve made men so effeminate through the feminist movement and by suppressing boys with Ritalin as the public schools treat boys like defective girls"

That sentence alone shows that you understand nothing, so how should we believe anything else you are saying? Oh and please explain why government funded health care is a pretty normal thing in Europe, and has been a success for quite a few decades. Or is that a different story because we Europeans are dirty socialists anyway?
And as a pastor you should really stick your head out of politics and see that the Republicans are the most unchristian party ever in regards to how they treat poor people and suck up to the rich. But you don't care right, as long as they keep the brown people and the evil gays and transsexuals at bay. Sigh.

Yup, the US healthcare system is probably the worst (and most expensive) in the developed world. Having ANY access to healthcare is a lifeline to the poor, dolt. Both Medicaid and Medicare are like band-aids on a large, bleeding wound. It's better than nothing, but doesn't really solve the problem.

health results of Medicaid are no better than those with poor people who have no insurance

Aren't those people exactly the ones that Medicaid helps? I'm no American, so I don't really know, but it sounds like he's saying "the health results of Medicaid are no better than the health results for people with Medicaid".

In what way is being created with a man's brain and a woman's body, being sinful? I assume you mean transgender, not transvestite, as the latter one don't need or want "cross-sex hormones".

enabling a lifestyle of sinful delusions

You mean being a religious child-molester?

Pumping menopausal women with estrogen also increase the chance for heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other conditions. Is it only when it's done to what you consider "men", that it's a bad thing?
Oh, and how do you explain transmen? (To you, that's women who think they are men. Like the "women" below... )

What color is the sky in your world, Billy-boy? You're going further and further away from reality, and sometimes even from sanity, dearie.

You can get over-the-counter meds for acid reflux. Medicaid is for people that are sick.

@Swede, their argument would be appearance. The people liking these laws only care about appearances. In theie eyes all trans foke are easily identifiable as the gender of theie birth. Ignorance plain ane simple.
