Most chronic illnesses are genetic to at least some extent. If we make healthcare "free" anywhere it ruins the last little bit of natural selection we have. The chronically ill will breed, create more chronicially ill, and so on and so forth until their are too many to support and it topples the whole system.

Also, when you make healthcare universal you are stealing from me at gunpoint to pay for it. It is immoral.

Of course, that's only a problem when poor people do it. If you or your family are rich enough to afford healthcare privately, you are free to have as many genetic defects as you want!

And the same is true for environmental factors, although, in many cases, we do not yet understand them as well as we understand the genetic factors.

We have "stepped above" natural selection. Humans are relatively weak and need each other's assistance to survive. That's why we take care of each other.

Not all chronically ill people cost more than they give to society.

No, when the government reduces taxes for the rich, THEN they are stealing from you at gun-point. When you assist in helping others stay alive, you're helping yourself providing people that can take of YOU, when/if you become chronically ill.

I have no children. Stupid people in my country think that I should not have to pay for parental leave or kindergarten. But I'm happy to help pay for the raising of the next generation of people, so there is someone ready to take care of me when I am old and infirm.

The moral thing to do is to help your fellow man. Just check out Matt 25:35 onwards.

Yup, your stupidity is also part genetics. And yes, you are 6,3 partly because of your environment, dolt! If you had lived in poverty growing up, you might not have gotten enough nutrition, and not been able to grow to your full potential.

Ah, good old natural fallacy once again. Combined with the "everything's genetic" thing the right likes so much except when it goes against their prejudices ("Oh yeah, races exist and stereotypical characteristics are actually genetic traits, but homosexuality is purely a choice of course!").

On a related note: When will this brainfart called "Social Darwinism" finally die? It has shown itself to be horrible and twisted time and time again, but there are so many people STILL wanting to put it into effect in their society. Either psychopathy is more common then I've realized or all these people actually think that they would of course be on top of the pyramid in such a society. Either way, a depressing thought.
