Quote# 138786

On his “Pass The Salt Live” webcast this morning, Religious-Right activist Dave Daubenmire suggested that “the Christ-hating left” is vehemently opposed to the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court because he could cast a deciding vote to eliminate legal abortion, which is the source of the adrenaline-filled blood that satanists use as the basis of their power.

“Why are they so upset about abortion?” Daubenmire asked, rhetorically. “Why are they so interested about death? Why do they want so much, the most important right they are ever going to have is the right for a woman to be able murder her unborn baby?”

This question prompted one of the participants on the livestream to explain that abortion is “the basis of their power” because “these people are satanists [who] sacrifice children and they use the children’s blood for their drug, adrenochrome.”

Daubenmire agreed, claiming that the left uses abortion and torture to create an “adrenaline rush” in fetuses and young children, who are then killed so that their adrenaline-filled blood can be extracted and consumed

You gotta love how a whole group of people that stand up for the rights of everyone whether they're hispanic, black, white, male or female, gay or straight is considered Christ Hating because we don't support a supreme court candidate who would possibly limit the rights of individuals.

When even those on 4chan's /pol/ - who are rabid Donald Fart-worshippers - say that Kavanaugh is one of (((Them))), you know you've got problems, Dave Derp.

Also, your 'God' gets an adrenaline rush when the unborn are tortured. If it pleases the court, I would like to submit Exhibit A: Hosea 13:16.

The prosecution rests.

So there's your entire 'Pro-Life' cause already aborted, fundies.

It's been pretty consistent for decades: The US population is about 70% in favor of abortions being legal, 30% against. The "against" contingent thinks they're the majority, but that's only because they only socialize with each other and people who don't challenge it because it's not worth the resulting abuse.

If Roe vs. Wade is ever repealed, the result will basically be that abortion is initially only legal in about 1/3 of the states, the 1/3 of states which the population are only moderately in favor are going to have a hell of a fight getting the right back (which most or all will succeed at eventually, but it will likely take awhile, and could take years after that for abortion providers to return in any significant number) - and it will be a sign that the Supreme Court is turning away from the longstanding philosophy that any right which can potentially make a big difference in one's quality of life should not be dependent on one's state of residence and/or birth.

But we already know that Coach Dave is a few sandwiches shy of a picnic. He seems determined to prove that whenever he opens his mouth.

Hey Davy, the Satanic Panic happened 30 years ago. Don't you think it's time to pick on some other scare tactic?

Damnit he knows! Yes, it's true, the fear adds... spice. Especially when devoured with some fava beans and a nice chianti...

No the big problem people have with Kavanaugh is that he believes a President is above the law and can't be tried for any crime. The same reason Trump likes him.

Why would I want "adrenaline filled blood" when I can just drive to my nearest Wawa & grab a can of Monster? Do these fundie idiots ever even listen to themselves?

What about the nutrients? How does a can of fizzy juice compare to the adrenaline-filled blood of a newly-dismembered foetus in nutritional terms? I would be very surprised if it were better for you!

OK, there's not a lot of blood in aborted foetuses since they're generally about the size of a golf-ball, but you can dilute it with water. Or just drink it neat like a shot.

I could be wrong but I have this suspicion that the religious fruitcakes are in for a disappointment. Courts don't usually overturn precedent unless (a) the law has changed or (b) the attitude of society has changed. Neither of these things are true for Roe v. Wade. I suppose the court could decide that the decision is just not justified by the Constitution but selling John Roberts on such a flimsy justification is, I think, a long shot.
