Modern games are cucked
I tried playing Far Cry 4, one of the female rebells/warriors was a foid, ruined it for me!
Started up Civilization VI, the introduction video was a father talking to his warrior daughter who later became a female president!
Started up Skyrim, female Imperial officer, female stormcloack soldiers and fucking shield maidens!
Started up Deus Ex, Human revolution, the smart scientists are female, male scientists are incompetent!
What the hell is going on here?

Why yes, female rebels are female. That's pretty obvious. And female Golden Path rebels are just as much wet tissue as any other red shirt. If you'd kept playing you'd notice that Amita, one of the two Golden path leaders, was decidedly a tactician rather than a a soldier and a completely amoral hypocrite reinforcing your stereotypes and could have taken Sabal's side the whole playthrough out of spite or agreement with his stay-in-the-kitchen philosophy. His ending is no better or worse than hers.
And you, as a man, are making the decisions for Mrs. President... isn't that kind of what you always wanted? Or else you as the character might not be a woman and you prove how superior your man's mind is by building civilization without a woman's input. Or whatever, I don't know, I haven't played it.
Nords in Skyrim are based on... well... Nordic Vikings and their myths. They had shieldmaidens and such in real life. What the hell is wrong with you? Besides which aren't there like a million mods that let you live out horrible misogynistic perversions and rape fantasies? I would have thought that would be the entire reason someone like you would even own the game.
... Who in Deus Ex's opening was incompetent? The lead of the most plot relevant project was a woman, sure, but elsewhere in the lab they're testing a non-suicidal suicide bomber's vest and other high tech goodies not to mention the inventor of augmentation technology was a man. And again when you play through you find out all sorts of unflattering things about her that would play to your hate boner for women including something that majorly detracts from any personal achievement she can claim in her big project and one of the major female antagonists doesn't pose much of a threat beyond appealing to the boner half of that hate boner as a distraction before sending big beefy men after you. Normally you don't even wait to find shit to bitch women out for and shit talking men is all on you for this one.
Quit trying to ruin videogames. If you can't perform because a woman is anywhere in the equation that's your problem.
Marketing research strongly indicates that more diversity in games equals more profits. Outside of niche markets, catering directly to bigots means less profits. Major corporations take marketing research seriously.
The difference is, in the mid 1980s to mid 90s, the majority of video game programmers were from mid-to-small-sized companies run by white dudebro geeks who made games aimed at other white dudebro geeks, without the benefit of marketing research. (Games and game programming jobs were actually somewhat more inclusive in the late 70s through early 80s.) Exceptions existed, of course, but white dudebro geeks were catered to the point that they can just dismiss most of them as niche products which they had no "need" care about. There's been a gradual but profound shift in the two decades since, though this is more of a general entertainment thing than a video game thing.
Oh fuck, nobody tell them about the super-secret twists at the end of Metroid or Ocarina of Time. At least, wait until we put down the plastic sheeting to tell them, 'sploded head-goop is murder on the upholstery.
Oh woe is the incel who has to see female characters in video games be warriors and scientists. How awful that the games industry doesn't cater to his highly specialised interests and actually considers what a variety of people want.
Oh what a world that does not bend to his every whim.
