The left has yet to offer any real hope to humanity, only lies and self-worshiping nihilism. There is no future in it, though it obsesses over the future. It's a hollow pseudo-religion, attempting to give meaning without admitting that meaning exists. That's why it's a joke.

Actually, in Britain at least, the Left offers more hope to the vulnerable in society such as the disabled, the homeless, the hungry. It also promises better pay for those who work in the police, fire service and health service. After all the Tories only have 124,000 members while Labour under Corbyn has 540,000.
The satirical magazine "Private Eye" makes no distinction when it comes to the jokes, nay, savage ripping the piss out of Labour & Conservative governments/politicians. Yet to date, nowhere in that organ - least of all the 'HP Sauce' section - has there been so much as a column inch about my MP Karl Turner (Labour, Hull East). Or someone else:

So the left believes in helping out the poor, businesses paying a living wage to employees, taking more tax dollars from the uber-rich who can afford it to benefit everyone else rather than giving them tax cuts that the middle and lower classes have to pay for, supporting universal health care, and support equal rights for all. And you say they have nothing to offer to humanity?
And don't get me started on the right... taking money from the ever-shrinking middle class and lower classes and giving that to the already-rich, ending social programs because they cost money and help people, insisting that companies not only remain allowed to keep the minimum wage low, but also advocate getting rid of the minimum wage so companies can pay even lower wages, reject universal health care in favor of expensive for-profit medicine, and want to repeal equal rights for a lot of people. Yeah, fuck them.
