Thee fact that there's a "genetic load" proves Alexander's (and anyone-with-a-brain's) point! If there's a genetic load, Deity....in it's great wisdom....would not make it so. Levitic law clearly bans incest. Hell, you aren't even allowed to see your family naked according to it. Meanwhile, the law Christians point to when banning homosexuality says "A man shall not lie with another man in a woman's bed". A clearly ambiguous definition that has already been interpreted as not condemning homosexuality, but instead just plainly banning sexual intercourse that takes place in a woman's bed (Yes, the bed was hers), which explains all the homosexual innuendo with the story of David and Jonathan. That is all I need to mention that you're a bad Christian. Then again, most homophobic Christians are bad Christians that think the KJV is the ultimate truth despite its blatant rewriting of some passages, so it's not really suprising.

Genetic mutations such as Anaemia, Dwarfism & Down's Syndrome are appearing in such a closed community with a limited gene pool: therefore the effects of incest are inevitable.

Assuming that God actually did decree that sex should only exist between a married man and woman, seeing as how close family members are prohibited from getting married in just about every Christian denomination I don't see how incest doesn't go against that.
And seriously, advocating incest while prohibiting homosexuality? I swear these homophobes are really going off the deep end when they claim that just about any heterosexual sex is OK, but all homosexual sex is an abomination. Seeing as how incest has real-world implications of harm toward offspring and homosexuality doesn't harm anyone, not to mention possible psychological harm stemming from father/daughter or mother/son sexual relationships, incest is clearly more harmful than homosexuality ever thought of being.

I mean, I've considered it before...just as they scrapped the sodomy laws in most civilised countries, then how about incest, if also between consenting adults in private? NO has to be the answer, however, because of the dangers to any children conceived. Besides an abusive childhood relationship could then continue into adulthood, quite easily here.
