THE 23 (XXIII) POPES NAMED JOHN

THE APOSTOLIC SUCCESSION FROM SAINT PETER IS NOW GONE WITH THE WIND! (DANIEL 2:35).

The first Pope to change his name and adopt a throne name was Pope John II in 533. 2 cardinals named Peter changed their names to John because they knew that Saint John was the true successor of Christ . . . and not Saint Peter!

In reality, there have been 24 Popes named John. Pisan Pope John XXIII (1410–1415) has been deleted from the list of Popes . . . so that leaves 23.

The Cathedral of the Most Holy Saviour and of Saints John the Baptist and the Evangelist in the Lateran, (Italian: Santissimo Salvatore e Santi Giovannit Battista ed Evangelista in Laterano).

Even though the Basilica is located on Italian soil, it is still under the jurisdiction of Vatican City State!

It is a real mystery how Mystery Babylon changed the Messiah's name, yet named 24 Popes after his successor!

It is beyond belief that 24 Popes named themselves after the Apostle John the Beloved, who exposed the Legs of Iron, and the feet and toes of Iron and Clay, on every page of the Apocalypse!
