[The contradictions between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are a bigger problem.]
There is no contradiction. In order to explain an act of creation, you have to explain it in sequence.
For example:
1) I created an automobile . 2) I formed the metal structure of the automobile and formed it's schematics 3) Then I designed rules for how the automobile should work and special electronic chips to gauge it's speed and rate of travel. 4) Then I saw it as a good automobile.

That's very, very backwards. Technically, depending on how you read it, there is no contradiction between Genesis 1 and Genesis 2, but this is the worst apologetics I've ever seen.
Not very convincing. In reality step one doesn´t exist. It´s just one, design the car, second, the realisation, and then all sorts of test to determine it. And, let´s stick to the Bible, God is God, omnipotent, and did it in six days. Period.
Well, while the order of creation in Genesis is ridiculous, the question here isn't really the order so much as why the order is different in Gen 1 from the order in Gen 2. That's because Genesis had several authors none of who was an omniscient deity.
Um, you produced that car backwards.
Oh, no wonder the universe is so messed up! God must have read the plans upside down!
Also, you failed to address the problem, which is that the two chapters of Genesis provide two contradictory sequences.
@Ermir
Is it me or is a car built in an order reverse to what he is saying?
D'OH!
I built the universe backwards! No wonder there's so much suffering and misery!
Anyway, I'll get back to work and fix the problem as soon as I can.
If those are supposed to be, like, verse headings, then this makes a bit more sense. He still needs to take an automotives class.
Amazing - much like the unnecessary repitition in genesis, you've created a set of instructions that, if followed exactly, will produce two cars. (You've already got a car at the end of step one, so steps two & three must be producing another one). And you still can't see the error of the original text.

Whilst not condoning Knowledge3's Backwards Day instance of creating a car, but being the pedantic type, that's exactly how Lotus sold their Super 7 (the car driven by Patrick McGoohan in the titles of "The Prisoner"). From the Wiki entry:
'The British tax system of the time (Purchase Tax) meant the car could be supplied as a kit (known as "completely knocked down" or CKD) without attracting the tax surcharge that would apply if sold in assembled form. Tax rules specified assembly instructions could not be included, but in a typical Chapman-inspired piece of lateral thinking, there was no rule covering the inclusion of disassembly instructions. Hence all the enthusiast had to do was to follow these in reverse.

I guess in time, cosmologists will be able to do similarly with models of the universe. But Knowledge3 still doesn't justify his bullshit with the glaring contradictions in the two Genesis passages.
Uh, yeah, now would you care to explain why Chapter one specifically says that animals were created before men and women, while Chapter two specifically says they were created after man but before woman?
I think a better apologetic would be:
Gen1: I, your God, made all this shit.
Gen2: I have to repeat this because a few thousand years from now some people will question whether I really made all this shit and spamming creationist bullshit over forums won't be possible before they invent that internet thing.
The Lotus Super Seven (made famous in the opening titles of "The Prisoner"*; driven by Patrick McGoohan).
To get around tax on cars at the time, Lotus sold it as a kit , with a manual on how to dis assemble the vehicle; the owner, logically, merely followed the instructions in reverse to build such. And save some cash in the process.
Use of Bad Analogy. Your argument is not only invalid, it has been pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed and numbered to an inch of it's life.
Be seeing you.

...and I've already commented on this quote. D'OH! X3
@JW
So much for God's 'Omniscience then, if he didn't know about the science of the development of Digital Computers (Turing), Telecommunications (Clarke), and HTML (Berners-Lee)...!
The contadictions ARE sequential contradictions. In order to explain something accurated you have to explain it two DIFFERENT ways?
I swear there was a pamplet sent through fundamentalist churchs saying that contradictions have to be entirely opposite and a bit different doesn't count.
Confused?
