He would rather hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings die than allow people to live their lives in a manner than has not the slightest impact on his own life. He is literally saying that it is better for the 574,000 people who live in Boston to be murdered than to allow a homosexual couple to have legal rights of co-habitation.

Actually no. Its not a crime to with for something evil to happen and express it. The first amendment protects that and the ACLU would defend the right of the self-loathing latent homosexual doctor doom to spread his idiocy. However if he had his way anyone who expresses sympathy to a terrorist would be arrested.
