Quote# 18549

The point is, gentleman, it is understandable it is not possible to convert every person. You deffinately cannot covert those who made up their decision that God doesnt exist. Right now, though, looking at how many people in the world believe in the existence of Super Natural power we can say with confidence that there seems to be more evidence for God's existence than against.

Dont give me this garabage about people being like sheep and they believe anything, cause I can use the same argument aginst atheist. I can say, "How stupid can you be not to see see, sense, hear, smell, touch, reason, his existence" The point is irrevelant because more scientists and more educated people believe in Super Natural then the other way around. So you are not proving anything to anybody if you are being sarcastic about religion.

Well, of course you can SAY that. It's stupid, but you're free to say it.

It doesn't apply because there has never been a credible, documented case of God being seen, heard, smelled or touched. The best reasoning shows that God does not exist.

And all those agnostics or atheist who converted to Christianity or Islam or Buddism, who are they?. One, that a majority of people choose to believe, it doesn´t mean that it´s necessarily true. Second, even if they believe, each one has had a different idea of God. Which one is the good one?.
Besides, ask any atheist or agnostic. They claim, more often than not, that they chose not to believe, not because honestly they can´t find a loving nature trying to help us, but for the unchristian and not very loving nature of the religious people that they found in their lives.

See his existence? What does God look like?

Sense it? How?

Hear it? Those voices in your head are not God, sorry.

Touch it? You mean God has a physical body and lets people feel him?

Sorry, bro, but all the lines you've been fed about how seeing a rainbow is seeing God's presence are just cute stories. They're not scientific evidence.

In all honesty, I don't doubt this. Considering the relatively small population of athiests (at least in America), it's not too hard to think that the number of Christian, Muslim, Jewish, etc. scientists outnumber us. Anyone have any kinda statistic on that?

So currently I should choose Catholicism, but in about a decade, assuming current trends continue, I'll have to convert to Sunnism? I mean, if you're going by the numbers.

Sweep up the straw when you're done. I don't presume to decide whether your magic sky pixie exists. It's just my decision whether I accept the evidence (or, regarding the existence of God, lack thereof).

Argumentum ad Populum is a FALLACIOUS technique, bub, an appeal to antilogic -- which means that you lose the argument before it even begins.

Let's see here:

faith
belief that is not based on proof:

ev•i•dence
that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.

Nope, I don't see the connection. In fact... they seem to be diametrically opposed. Funny, that.

Reality ain't a popularity contest, you fool.

would it start to change color in the sky?
No.
