LOL He is going ot be crucified mercilessly by the 10 billion year old advocates. I studied under Ken Ham at a 1 year bible college, and he has taken a LOT of flack for his science- but that's the way of hte left- ostracize and ridicule anyone that dissagrees with you- calling them psuedo-scientists in a nasty attempt to try to discount their facts. Hopefully htough, his museum will plant a few seeds that will sprout eternal life.

Studying under KH for any length of time is definitely not something to boast about. It's like saying I spent a solid year playing in my mother's garden and, as a direct result, I am now an electrical engineer.

I don't think ridiculing creationist "scientists" is limited to scientists of just one political persuasion.
Or is this person so dim that they think you can only be on the right if you affirm creationism?
Mirror award?. In science, you have to support with credible, tested, contrasted evidence what you propose, and then, and only then, you´ll be accepted. If this guy prefers to use the Bible, ok, but he can´t expect support from the scientific community, not because he disagrees with them, but because it is HIS METHODS which are pseudo-scientific. If he can´t play by the rules, he´d better not call what he does science.
Crucified mercilessly? Do you have a god-delusion for your hero here? Anyway, real science doesn't persecute anyone that puts forth half-assed theories or claims, just goes about showing how wrong they are. Just because you don't like the results is not an attempt to "get" Ham.
There is no one, repeat, no one that already knows even a smidgen about evolution that will go to this museum and suddenly think, "Oh my, I've been wrong, Jesus please forgive me!" The only people that will visit this museum are the hard-core fundies who are afraid that their children, who have to go to public school because their parents are too under-educated to have decent enough jobs to send them anywhere else, are being dangerously indoctrinated in public schools in evolution, hoping that this museum will prevent them from sliding into unsaved territory. That's what I see, this is for fundie parents who worry that their children aren't fundie enough.
Well, that and the hecklers who won't be able to resist the temptation, and will sacrifice their money to Ken Ham just to be able to deride him.
Oh wow... I can't help but feel as if you're looking into a highly polished mirror. Do the terms, traitor (in reference to Christians that don't share your beliefs), heathen and Evilotionists ring a bell? Why don't you deal with your own name-calling and ostrasizing (which has gone on for a very, very long time) before you criticise others?
Hopefully htough, his museum will plant a few seeds that will sprout eternal life.
For Jack gave his only cow, so that those that believed may not perish, but instead be eternally sprouted.

A lawyer that old must charge quite a high per-hour rate, you know.
Ken Ham, and yourself, are proof that it is better to remain quiet and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.
Hopefully htough, his museum will plant a few seeds that will sprout eternal life.
You know, when I read that, I imagined the enormous Krynoid plant from the Doctor Who episode "Seeds of Doom" taking over the curators and eventually totally engulfing the museum itself.
That would be cool. This post, not so much.
That's a bright, shiny mirror, there, Cott. Must be why all the typos, the mirror blinded him.
@Adrian: Fables fan here! *waves wildly*
"Studied" and "Ken Ham" do not belong in the same sentence. There's nothing academic or integrity-bearing in the slightest about mister Ham. And "pseudo-scientists"? Yes, it is pseudo-science. When it can pass peer review, present a valid hypothesis, then endure objective testing, it will be science. However, it hasn't. It hasn't even come close. It can't even pass legal review - see Dover v. Kitzmiller; You lost even in the court system.
Publish or perish. It's how testing starts. Want to drop the "pseudo"? Prove your "science". I eagerly await some scriptural flailing.
If a scientist talked the shit Ken Ham does he's be called everyname that resembled stupid, unqualified and dishonest too. Ken Ham doesn't do science, Ken Ham lies about science, history and the world today.
It's straight out catering to the creationists, giving them a shred of confidence in their belief by lying outright and convincing them reality is wrong. Ken Ham is one of those that says scientists are hiding Biblical evidence and making up evolutional and geographic evidence.
All because he found this error-filled book from two thousand years old fables.
