Atheism is moral suicide. And hell is full of ex-atheists.

Statement 1: Disproven by the existence of moral, upstanding atheists who generally don't go around raping, pillaging, eating babies' brains, etc. Besides, Christian dogma asserts that morality is inherently valueless on its own (you can read bedtime stories to dying orphans and still burn if you don't accept Jesus, apparently) and ultimately unattainable for any human being - accusing us of renouncing something we openly hold in higher regard than you yourself do is just a tad hypocritical.
Statement 2: Not supported by any verifiable evidence, and must rationally be assumed false until such evidence is found.
statement 1: Wrong. I know a lot of very good moral people who happen to be atheists, my mom was an atheist and everybody who worked with her was so sad when she died that they made a quilt in her honour. They all said she was one of hte most wonderful people they ever knew. Also i like to think i'm a reasonably good person as well.
Statemnent 2: I don't need to respond to that because IMO it's nonsense. Like threatening children with lumps of coal at Christmas.
Like a website endorsed by Rush Limbaugh, Anne Coulter, and the RNC should be able to suggest morality to anyone! Given that pedigree, your criticism should be considered a ringing endorsement of honor, your approval would be a sign of shame!
I notice that Christians never seem to ask the questions they should. As much as I hear them telling me and others that Christianity is the only reliable path to morality, they never ask me, "If you're an atheist, why do you do good?"
It's always the opposite which says quite a bit about their mindset.
So, I committed moral suicide (meaning I have no morals, I assume?), but were I to become Christian, I'd be fucked?
If I was related to this guy, I'd promptly destroy any evidence of it.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
