Unlike those people who define "anti-Semitism" as ethnic bigotry, I define it as opposition to or ridicule of actual Jewish religious beliefs. If you ever reidicule the Jewish G-d or His Torah I can assure you I will request your expulsion from this forum as an anti-Semite. And I mean it.

YOUR BLOODY BIBLE IS HALF FROM THE JEWISH FAITH!
*cough* Sorry for that outburst. But, really, the Old Testament is almost the same for both religions, right (almost because of translating errors and all)? Jesus was Jewish; the only difference between Jewish and Catholic people is that one group thinks Jesus was their savior, the other still thinks that person's yet to come. Just how frickin' hard is it for fundies to understand this?
Not getting into the whole "Jewish God" versus the "Christian God" bit, either... to be totally honest, that's Old Testament versus the New Testament. Really... Old Testament would win. Hands down. Just... *smite "other" God* "I win."
Well that sounds like the words of someone without much certainty in their faith. I would think that if your beliefs are so self-evident and concrete that opposition or ridicule would be as water off of a ducks back.
I don't know anybody who would willingly put up with that kind of e-dictatorship.
One, never ridicule a belief. I think I would have lots to ridicule in your redneck Protestant Christianity. You can critisise, with good arguments, but not ridiculise. Second, modern day Jewish hold the same beliefs than 2000 years ago and 5000. If you do it, apart from being an ignorant asshole, you're ridiculising the origins of your beliefs, and since you are so fond of quoting the OT, your the master of contradiction.
Why do jewish people put a hyphen in 'god'? I mean, it's more annoying than christians capitalizing the word.
Fuck Moses and fuck that backward religion. :D
Kill the jewish god, he's an asshole.
He has spawned waaay too many human assholes, and done some incredible damage to normal people.
Semitic Nazis...isn't it awesome how quickly the wheel of history turns...from the Warsaw ghetto to the Gaza, the game is the same, but the victims became the oppressors. The Zionists found their very own Untermenschen to step on.
Dictionary.com defines Semite as follows:
- a member of any of various ancient and modern peoples originating in southwestern Asia, including the Akkadians, Canaanites, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs.
That means antisemitism is also synonymous with anti-Arab.
I know you don't want to hear it but it doesn't make it any less true.
Well... good thing I'm not a Freeper, then, because I'm not much of a fan of Jewish doctrine either.
Hell, I was trying to explain the concept of Holy Communion to my nephew yesterday, and somehow managed to only mention Moses once... Jews, for the most part, are great people who have had to put up with way more shit in their history than anyone, anywhere, deserves. But that doesn't mean some of them can't be fundie pricks just as much as a Muslim or a Christian.
Praetyre:
I'm afraid I have to disagree with you on your first point there -- you will get a fairly wide spectrum on Israel's right to exist even from those with no Jew-hate whatsoever. (Me personally? I think it has a right to exist, but given the current intertwining of religious and secular authorities in civil matters and a level of borderline-American boneheadedness in their internal and foreign policies, I should think many Jews secretly find their current state to be mildly embarrassing. I don't think they do though.)
Oh for fuck's SAKE - the Old Testament is part of the Jewish holy books, and Jesus himself was a Jew, as was Mary, and Joseph.
Christianity is more an offshoot of Judaism - yes, it's a seperate religion, but it *is*, for the most part, derived from Judaism.
"Oh for fuck's SAKE - the Old Testament is part of the Jewish holy books, and Jesus himself was a Jew, as were Mary, and Joseph."
I don't think those three mean anything to this guy, since he seems to be Jewish.
Confused?
