It has plenty of dates; it's just that the dates are in relation to other events, rather than in relation to a standard zero-point.
That should make them harder to memorise. So there.
If you don't think think the bible has dates, bring out your calculator and answer the question:
How is the earth 6000 years old?
Don't forget, if you really love Jesus you must remember every single date with the son in the succession.

I see you're also really bad with this function called the apostrophe. Any back to the Bible's complete lack of dates, chronology, and facts; how do you know the Earth is 6,000 years old then?
I wish they taught history in math class back when I was in school, but it doesn't work that way.
Btw, none of my teachers (all the way from elementary school to college) ever made me remember dates - a couple even specifically said that's not what learning history is about. So long as you know generally when things happened (the 40s, the 60s, late 19th century, etc) you're fine (people, places, and events are the important things to focus on).
The wholly babble doesn't mention Greek history, which is far more interesting than Judean.
The Golden Age started when the Christ visited Socrates....
There's www.teens-4-christ.org and www.teens4christ.org . They are two different web sites. The former is, I think, the original NC Baptist bunch, with Bro. Randy and Mrs. Debbie and the usual IFB crew. The other site is operating out of a GoDaddy server with a "store-bought" forum template. There's no indication as to who's running it, as far as I can see. While the fstdt links themselves are correct, the text hasn't always been accurate; e.g., Teens4Christ referring to www.teens-4-christ.org . I'm coming around to the oft-stated opinion of others that we ignore www.teens4christ.org , at least until someone can figure out who that bunch is.
Yeah, real history is hard, and,... and, I don't wanna have to... learn stuff. (sniff)
Yeah, this is bullshit enough to be Poe, but just to cover all the bases...
Doesn't the Bible mention at least two eclipses? The Moon shone blood red or something like that. During the Cucifixion- there was a darkness over the land. The dates of those events can be told with certainty. Anything else can be known by how many generations before or after these events. It's very specific with genaeology, and we can guess 20-25 years per generation. So there are your years.
Moondog, she didn't say that dates couldn't be calculated. She said she didn't think the bible had any, and she is right about that.
Same with whoever was asking how people came up with the earth being 6,000 years old. That estimate is based on genealogies and lifespans, not with any dates mentioned in the bible.
Or facts, for that matter.
Protip: History class is for teaching history, not religious mythos.
This is why you read "The Odyssey" in lit class, dear.
I prefer the MANOWAR theory of creation. It has fewer names, no dates, and twice the asskicking.*
In the beginning there was silence and darkness
All across the earth
Then came the wind and a hole in the sky
Thunder and lightning came crashing down
Hit the earth and split the ground
Fire burned high in the sky
From down below fire melted the stone
The ground shook and started to pound
The gods made heavy metal and they saw that it was good!
They said to play it louder than hell we promised that we would!
When losers say it's over with you know that it's a lie
The gods made heavy metal and it's never gonna die!
Truly inspiring! PRAISE BE!
* conservative estimate
I want to say Poe, but in case not....why would they teach in geography class than the earth is flat or in math class that 2 + 2 = 5?
Exactly. So why teach blatant lies in history class?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
