What "countless trillions of impossibilities" does it take to change a common ancestor into either a chimpanzee or a human? The two animals are practically identical except for the relative size of their various parts.
Faith isn't required to support evolution. There are hundreds of simple observations which, if they actually existed, would disprove evolution. Creationists are welcome to look for them. Evolution explains all the observed facts, and isn't countered by any.
BTW, the claim that evolution is a religion (and therefore should be banned under the First Amendment) was already tried in court and lost, so the whole question has no practical effect on anything.

As usual, the wise man realises that simple life occurring for no known reason is an impossibility. Perfect life occurring for that same unknown reason, however, is self-evident.

Shouldn't it be...
"Creationism is based entirely on blind, gullible, undiscerning faith that countless trillions of impossibilities resulted in all life on Earth from non-life."

Dear DoctorDoom,
You should be more careful. You have just admitted that religion is based on blind, gullible, undiscerning faith. You are aware that this applies to you. Now that you have recognised that your beliefs are based on nothing more than wishful thinking, perhaps you can get over this insanity and move on.

Moral of the story, there are guys who are ignorant and proud of it. Or that use double standards when it comes to coherence.

I was convinced of the theory of evolution by a strong logical argument, supported by a huge number of supporting facts, and verified by copious examples of the theory correctly predicting future discoveries. I note the complete lack of same on the 'side of the angels'.
Faith is all well and good, but I don't have any, so I prefer my beliefs to come with solid proof. I notice that despite 'countless trillions of impossibilities', fundies never seem able to post even one. What should I infer from that, that you're 'spoilt for choice'? Or making it all up?

It's the religion for atheists.
And you wouldn't be seen dead supporting anything as idiotic as religion, would you?
I still can't believe how many religious types make this moronic assertion - even if it were true, which it isn't, they condemn themselves just as much as their target. It's like burning down your whole house to get rid of rats.

Don't forget. Christianity is not a religion. It's a personal relationship with their lord and savior. At least until someone looks to their churches for taxes. Then it's a religion.
