As for Chinas attitude towards Christians. They've studied it's history (they've studied the west for years, they know our market better than our people) and found it to be a destuctive thing to society and knowledge.

With regards to China, I assume the current leadership remembers the lessons of the failed Boxer Rebellion, which the activities of U.S Xtian evangelists, alienated many at the time, & were used as a excuse by the ruling Manchu Dynasty to initate a wave of Xenophobic violence, in the name of patriotic fervour...
Needless to say, they will not allow China to be humiliated again by the actions of Gwailo Xtian evangilists....
