Although Evolutionists will tell you with a straight face that an elephant mated with a cockroach and a bald eagle was born, there has never been a case of different animals mating with each other, despite the fact of millions upon millions of different species. Cats mate with cats, dogs with dogs,
pidgeons with pidgeons etc. They all mate with their own kind.
A demonstrable observable fact!

It's pretty clear that your personal definition of "kind" is synonymous with "specie", if you make the additional assumption that by "mate" you mean they actually produce viable offspring. There's a big problem with that, though - Noah couldn't have ever built a wooden vessel large enough to preserve all the species that exist today. So, either your definition of "kind" is wrong, or your book of stories is wrong. Look on youtube for some excellent videos under the moniker of cdk007; that guy explains the whole situation, and quite a few other evolutionary matters, with damn near perfect clarity.

Trust me, fundies CAN be that stupid, and frequently are. I've seen enough of them over at the Richard Dawkins forums trying to propagandise for their worthless doctrines, posting hit-and-run posts at the start of threads containing gibberish like this, and worse, to know that it is impossible to underestimate the stupidity of a fundie.

Just look up ANYTHING by Supersport aka Guzman, or Robert Byers, and wince at the fact that these are individuals whose IQ is beneath that of an amoeba.

Indeed, one of the ways in which you can tell that a parody of fundamentalism IS a parody is that it frequently isn't stupid enough. It takes a special brand of stupid to be a fundie, a brand of stupid so special that my tropical fish possess a better level of scientific literacy than they do.

Gene-splicing. It's already happening with GM crop plants. How the hell do you think we got to the stage we are today agriculturally? Bananas as we know them today are purely down to human intervention, reproduction-wise. It's not only animals that became domesticated...

Hybridisation. Zebras are a specific, different species. But they're genetically compatible with certain species of equines. Also as proved by Jacob. Ligers. Tigons.

You'd better not watch "Star Trek" and the anime series "Macross" if you know what's good for you, JoeyDee17. Klingons & Zentraedi are genetically compatible with Humans. Remember: the science fiction of the past is the science fact of today. Two words:

Recombinant DNA.

And geneticists have already mapped our DNA. Three words:

Human Genome Project.

With the knowledge scientists possess (or will in the coming years), they'll be able to improve upon the original design. They'll beat God at his own game.
