God is logical.
If he wasn't, then he would have created the grass before the light!
What is the probability God would have gotten all 7 days in the right order if he had no logic?
1 of out 5040 possibilities.

that's not how the week works, which by the way was invented by ME, GREAT ODIN !!!
You are WEAK ! Therefore by your logic, so is your God. I bet he can't even hold his mead.
by the way...
MORE MEAD !!!
And that, class, is what we call "begging the question".
Or, more precisely, "massive stupidity".
God is logical.

I thought the whole argument of the person in the quote preceeding this one was that he did just that.
Also, I like how they seem to assume that if things had turned out differently, we would somehow "know" that it was "supposed" to be the way it is now.
Hm, plants first, then light? No, no, no - lights, then, uh . . . plants, oopsy daisy, maybe I better throw in a sun or two around here someplace. OK, later for that - right now I think I'll take a rest. Think I'll call today Someday. Naw - better tend to the ol'chores first 'n' goof off next week. I'll just call the days, Moondoggie, Twosday, Onesday, Twosday again, Hey, fuck logical order, I'm god f'r mysake Thorday, Fourday - WAIT, I know - first I'll make grass! Kewl! Then all that other shit. This will be fun...

I've read lots of stupidity on this site, but this ...
Read the last post, he did make the grass before the sun.
But not before the light.
As for Rinji, if the story stated some other order you would be insisting that that was the correct order.
Um, except he accidentally created light before the source of light, and he created all the stars separately from the sun even though the sun is one of the stars. And he never specifically bothered creating other planets, where did they even come from?

Holy hell, that's some stupid right there.
You do realize that our system of measuring time is extremely arbitrary, right? At one time, some people came up with decimal time, dividing each day into 10 hours, each hour composed of 100 minutes, each minute composed of 100 seconds. China used to use weeks called xun that were 10 days long, and they still do on some documents.
Okay, being a mathematician, this is hilarious. Rinji got is prob by doing a permutation of 7 distinguishable objects. Except, the seven objects realy aren't distinguishable. Its like doing a 7 letter word permutation with 7 A's.
Furthermore, what he gives us is P(the weekdays are in correct order GIVEN that god exists and is illogical). Had he applied Bayes Theorem he would find that P(god exists AND is logical GIVEN the weekdays are in correct order)<1/3. That is with the extremely generous and unwarrented probability of god's existence being 1/2. Truely, though, probability theory is so abused these days. There are far too many unknowns to get a mathematicaly acceptable probability on the existence of god. Though, the more conditions brands of religion impose on their god, the fewer unknowns there are. Almost all result in an intersection that is the equivalent of an empty set.
If G is logical, then why does he have emotions? After all, he should just already know the future, know the logical steps to get there, and never ever get angry at any other outcome, since he already knew it was going to happen before he even started.

Oh, wait ... 2 of you already beat me to it.
Oh wait- Rinji forgets that on the 8th day He rested too, on the 9th day, and the 10th, and the two millionth- why the probabilities are even less plausible than the numbers creationists make up for a piece of DNA!
But he didn't get all 7 days in the right order! What's the probability that would have happened if he had no logic? 5039/5040.
Oh, and "The character God has a reasonable command of logic" =/= "The assertion that God exists is a logical one."
Confused?
