[In a thread about the xtian bible encouraging rape]
God sets the timespan every human gets on EARTH. When you die you're not wiped out of existance (contrary to what Atheism teaches) so I'm not exactly sure what your beef is with God. You're simply taken out of the game.
Hmm, "innocent children" die and then they get to go to heaven to be with a God that loves them. I sure AM one "sick evil bastard." Let's talk about the guilty children...
[And after being ripped apart over his total lack of morality]
I never said it is moral for people to kill children now did I? I said it is moral for GOD to kill children.

Oh, so God is the heartless bastard, you are just his sycophant who is perfectly fine with the little racket he has set up here, but altogether blameless. A real Nazi for Jesus...
guilty children?? What guilty children?
Seriously your God should of let Freud in, just so he could get some help.
So, an entity that finds it moral to kill children is somehow admirable and worthy of worship?
Sick, twisted and disgusting...you AND your god.
Atheism teaches you're wiped from existence upon death?
First of all, atheism doesn't teach anything, and secondly, you're not wiped from existence when you die. You decompose or you get cremated, and the molecules that make up your body go back into the infinite cycle of rebirth and death as other things.
From my rotting body, flowers will grow, and I am in them, and that is eternity. --Edvard Munch
And so, why should we apply to a morality to which its provider doesn't apply?. And by the way, those children were KILLED by human beings, say, JEWISH PEOPLE?
But is it moral for people to kill children and then claim that God told them to? That's what the Bible says.
I've sometimes wondered if some of those stories involved some remorse, someone getting just sick inside at the sight of dead children, and inventing the story that God told them to do it to make the guilt go away.
"When you die you're not wiped out of existance (contrary to what Atheism teaches)"
More like "When the flesh has fallen and the bones rotted away, he shall have stars at elbow and foot".
"I never said it is moral for people to kill children now did I? I said it is moral for GOD to kill children. "
And the hundreds of "God"-inspired serial killers go wild!
'Hmm, "innocent children" die and then they get to go to heaven to be with a God that loves them.'
God loves them to death, it appears. Anyway, would you like to cite chapter and verse showing that innocent children go to heaven rather than hell?
Atheism is a belief, not a course. It teaches nothing. The biggest element of atheism is what fundies have a problem with, and that is that people who consider themselves atheists think for themselves and make their own determinations regarding life and spirituality. They are taught nothing, by anyone.
Such a wonderful god you have, believing it is moral to kill children. Children he supposedly created. And what are these children your god kills guilty of? Spilling their milk? wetting their pants? Learning the alphabet?
Because it's moral for God to do whatever the hell he wants with creation, because he's not accountable or responsible for giving us the ability to feel miserable and then giving us just that, no.
And, of course, we're never allowed to question this holy logic or we'll go to Hell.
"I never said it is moral for people to kill children now did I? I said it is moral for GOD to kill children."
Wait a second, I think he has a slight chance of realizing the idiocy he's been following!!!
...Or probably not.
I never said it is moral for people to kill children now did I? I said it is moral for GOD to kill children.
I belive it was Jeff Foxworthy who said; "Its hard to tell your kids not to do drugs with a marijuana plant tattooed on your neck."
I have little respect for this god who tells people something is wrong and then turns around and does exactly what he said was wrong.
I said it is moral for GOD to kill children
Sounds like your god is hell bent on producing a whole lot of fucked up kids in that heaven place.
A bit like his fundie followers are doing here in the real world?
Confused?
