It's funny. I lived in France and Belgium, and there, not only interracial marriage is totally legal but also gays can marry(in Belgium)or live with the same benefits(what they call "pacser"). And of course, nobody is demanding to marry their cats.

I live in France and my cat has turned down my proposal of marriage. She wants equal rights for cats, not just toleration. Also, as a liberal puss, and being of good breeding, she wants to live in a chat-eau, and I can't really afford one for her. But the biggest hurdle is that I am gay. But I think she is just using this as an escape 'claws'. heheheh/sarcasm.
