My reponse to this is:
In the Bible, God was talking about Isrealites mixing with other local tribes, not whole "races" of people.
We're all of the human race, just with slightly different shades depending upon where we live.
Grow up and stop fitting your modern assumptions to an ancient collection of tales written by superstitious goatherders over 2,000 years ago.
Not that she will, of course. :(
And, in my personal experience, mixed-raced people are some of the kindest, most tolerant people I have ever met. Not to mention beautiful. (Has she ever seen the cast of Heroes?)*
*There are/were at least four people on the show of mixed race, who are beautiful/handsome even by TV standards. Just ask fangirls like me! ;)

My family's screwed. I doubt that most people would consider me pure since I have Gypsy blood, my father is enough that he gets asked what tribe he's from when he goes to my son's pow-wows. I know that my husband isn't pure enough, he's part Native.
