A piece of iron cannot "evolve" into anything because IT IS NOT ALIVE and DOES NOT REPRODUCE.
In order for evolution to happen, the subject must be alive and able to procreate, thereby passing along its genetic information from one generation to the next.

That's not how evolution works for a number of reasons, all of which should be completely obvious if you had a clue what evolution actually is.
