Brittany, I was your age once and I understand where your coming from at your age with your lack of knowledge. You are looking at things from your own perspective rather than from a Biblical perspective. There is another world out there if you seek it. Life is short and you are making decisions that will effect you negatively for the rest of your life and thereafter. As far as the safe sex; that only exists in the marriage institution. You have bought the 'Worlds Big Lie,' fed to us by the devil through liberals.

"lack of knowledge. You are looking at things from your own perspective rather than from a Biblical perspective."
And if you try "neither of the above", you'll be even better off.
Also: "[lies] fed to us by the devil through liberals."
LOL!
"As far as the safe sex; that only exists in the marriage institution"
Oh, oh, RIGHT. Because no one ever got AIDS or an STD from their spouse. Like I'm thinking of John List's wife, who got syphilis from her first husband and was going mad from it...right, the marriage institution.
No Brittany! You can't lose your cherry until you're under contract to do so. (and make a nice donation to the church for their help in creating a contract between you, a male fundie, and an invisible Sky Daddy)

That is exactly what my mother-in-law said right before she told my wife and I that balck people are not real humans.
Abstinence pledges break far more easily than condoms.
She's entitled to make her own decisions regarding her vagina, Lyle, and you ought to back the fuck off, because grown men telling girls what to do with their vaginas give me the heebies.
I don't get it. How does a ring on the finger equal safe, disease and unwanted pregnancy-free sex? If anyone here is married and your ring does this, please turn it over to the nearest research lab for testing, as we could be missing the safest, most effective contraceptive known to man. Thank you.
@Jud: Seconded. STFU Lyle.
I don't know what age Brittany is/was here, but I bet I was her age once too. If she's around 16-18, she probably thinks that she knows everything there is to know. Telling her that she lacks knowledge will raise her guard against you, and blathering about "Biblical perspective" won't make her listen up.
Brittany, life is indeed short, and as far as we know, this is all we will get. So live life to the fullest in the here and now. Don't do things just cause others expect it from you, but cause it feels good to you. As far as the safe sex, with condoms it's pretty safe. Wait until YOU are ready, don't let yourself be pushed into it, but don't listen to the abstinence-only people either.
How is sex safer just cause you've said "I do" in front of a judge or a priest?
What Big Lie? The devil can't do anything that God doesn't allow. If God is omnipotent, that is...
@ Princess Rot
I was married in 1997, and stopped using any kind of contraceptives in 1998. I've had a miscarriage in 2002, that's it. So perhaps my ring DOES do something!!!
Or, I'm just infertile...
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
