[From a debate on whether or not "bias in Wikipedia hampers reliability."]

"I think that bias does at times impair Wikipedia's reliability. Truth be told I think that the same thing is beginning to occur on Conservapedia."

Wikipedia may be unreliable, but it's not due to a "bias" ... except maybe towards geek culture.

I really want this guy to define the word "bias" for us now. That alone could be worth a laugh and a half.

*snorts* Conservapedia was born biased.

Though I have to agree that Wikipedia isn't something I'd use as a reliable research source. I never use it in school projects.

I'd be more likely to cite Uncyclopedia as a source for my information than Conservapedia.

Wikipedias a quick source when you need one, I wouldn't base a term paper on it.

Conservapedia is starting to become biased?

From the Conservapedia entry on Evolution:

"The fossil record is often used as evidence in the creation versus evolution controversy. The fossil record does not support the theory of evolution and is one of the many flaws in the theory of evolution."

Is it even possible to have bias in something anyone in the entire world can edit? The only undeniable bias in wikipedia is against people who don't have internet access, which really cannot be blamed on anything.

Well the Bible was (and still is being) editted by those who want to it to read as they want it to be read.
That's been going on for 1600 years at least.
Biggest pack of lies ever compiled.
