In the same way that people are innocent until proven guilty, God is non-existant until proven real.

There is no view point more arrogrant than that of the religious.
God made ME in his own image (despite the fact that everyone single person looks different), He cares about what I do, He cares when and where and with whom I have sex, He interferes in my life to give ME guidance, the universe is vast as is time but MY God speaks to ME and tells ME the secrets of life, even though they bare no resemblence to observable reality.
The creator of everything values ME over YOU 'cos I believe in HIM.

This is true, so what? There are an infinite number of things we don't have proof for, to single out just one or two as worth treating as real in the absence of evidence is 'special pleading'.

Why not? You don't have any evidence the tooth fairy isn't real, so would you still put a lost tooth under your pillow in the hope of getting a shiny coin? What about all those other gods? You've no reason to say they don't exist, but you don't seem to mind potentially pissing them off by not believing in them, why?

You can easily prove God does not exist with logic -- it's called "deductive atheology" and is, sadly, mostly ignored.
Regardless, we don't need to, because it's irrational to believe something without evidence and justifcation. Basically all you're saying is we should toss all the religious, at least the fundies, into an insane asylum.
If they do have a 'superiority complex', it's probably because they are vastly superior, intellectually speaking, to a bunch of in-bred and ill-educated fundies.
And lack of proof doesn't equate to existing. Thus, we should all take an agnostic viewpoint. Wait, that's not what you wanted, was it?
More cretinous "logic". The mere fact that you worship one invisible being and not another does not ipso facto that the former exists. There is nothing arrogant or superior about stating this, it is something that a child could point out.
If anybody is arrogant it is a fundie who refuses to even consider the possibility that the object of his worship is imaginary and cannot debate the point with non-believers in a sensible or even grammatically correct manner.
And, yes, we do know that absence of proof of existence is not proof of non existence. However, absence of any proof whatsoever makes for a compelling argument for non existence.

A person is innocent until you prove him guilty, and an invisible entity is assumed not to exist unless you provide the proof. Two millennia, and you've got nothing yet.
I'm not "most atheists", I'm just one individual, but I don't have a superiority complex nor an arrogant complex. Most people who know me rather think I should stand up for myself more, take more space, speak up more.
What religious view? Every religious person seems to have their own view on their religion, and of the religions of others.
You can't prove a negative with logic. Lack of proof also doesn't equate to existing.
If your god is possible, then so are all the other thousands of gods and goddesses that humans have worshiped, and are worshiping.
