Often people say God is just or fair and would not let children die in this manner or suffer this way. But The God of the OT is still the same God. In the book of 1 Samuel He instructed Saul to kill everything living thing.. animals, men, women, and children when they conquered that city... Children suffer horrible in other third world countries daily... I do lean toward... those with no christian parents being left behind to find their own way to christ before it is to late.
