Quote# 4679

People are saying that God would not let children suffer the tribulation.. all I am saying is what are you basing that on? He let them suffer the flood, he let them suffer mass killings by his command, he let them die in sodom and Gamaroh.... why would the tribulation be any different? He is still the same God he does not change.

Ah, so you concede that you worship a monster. It's incredible that you could admit that. Now, why you don't run from this God in disgust, I don't know...

MILF-chan

Yeah, see, a loving God wouldn't have made his children suffer any of those things either.

Your god is an asshole.

I agree. That was one nagging problem among many in the Left Behind novels about the rapturing of the infants.

Darwin's Lil' Girl

Proof the Christian god is an asshole.

Big Chicken Dinner

During the great Rapture, Angels will fly in and ask the little babies if they want to accept Jesus as their personal LORD and savior.

This happened at Sodom and the Great Flood. This has been documented many times by historians, and in fact, is yet another proof of the inerrancy of the most perfect book ever made - the HOLY BIBLE. ;)

Oh my God, BCD, you just made my day!

...It's sad that you're being serious, though.

And Lithp is officially less evil than God...Lithp needs a moment alone now...LITHP IS NOT FUCKING CRYING!

@BCD

What happens if they don't respond? ;)

Big Chicken Dinner

Jesus said, "Suffer the little children" which means that if they didn't respond to His generous offer, he personally tossed them into the pits of Hell.

Now, don't get me wrong, Jesus loves us all so very much. And he is a forgiving God. And he would never do anything to hurt His children - no matter their age.

But we all have sin and from the moment of our conception, we are vile, wicked, evil and generally just rotten. Jesus can't allow that into heaven unless you've said the magic words (the Sinner's prayer said while prostrating and groveling).

This is actually the most mature and perfect form of love - God's willingness to eternally torment babies for the minor imperfections of our ancient ancestors.

Feel that Christian Loveā„¢, motherfuckers! Feel it!

Incorrect and downright blasphemous

Big Chicken Dinner-There is very little historical refrences to the bible.

Jesus said, "Suffer the little children" which means that if they didn't respond to His generous offer, he personally tossed them into the pits of Hell.
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.Matthew 19:14

apYrs

and you worship this psycho??

Just because he created us (in your world view) doesn't give him the right to kill us. If we have free will we are no longer his toys. If we haven't free will, all evil we do etc is founded in him.

You fail logic (as so many of your tribe fail)

2/13/2008 7:49:08 AM

Thammuz

Well... for one because he swore not to do that anymore, even though i know that perjury doesn't apply to that guy...

Moondog

Jesus can't allow that into heaven unless you've said the magic words (the Sinner's prayer said while prostrating and groveling).
When I was growing up the magic words were always, "Please" and "Thank you," not any of this crap. For more crap, Mommy2K cites Sodom and Gamorah and the Flood, none of which ever happened so why should anyone think there will be a Rapture or Tribulation?

He is still the same God he does not change.

Uh, hasn't Mommy2KandM just pretty much denounced the whole foundation of Christianity? New Covenant and all that?

At least she's honest.

@Nuy: Ignore the chicken dinner, it's a very persistent Poe.
