sir, as a devout believer in the Lord, I must say that your point doesn't really register with my logic...basically, because today's educational institutions try to remove all belief from one's mindset
school these days tries to replace religion with science, unlike the days of yore, when religious beliefs were entwined with education

You mean like during the dark ages?
In the days of yore, families had 20 kids because only 3 or 4 would make it to adulthood - most died after painful, heartwrenching illnesses, needless infections, and plain accidents, like breaking a leg. Not enough time to earn money for food, and people were worked a lot harder. Lots of stress not knowing what decisions you were making would cause more loss of life than others - either way, someone would die.
Oh - those were the days!

No, it doesn't "register with your logic" because you're not using logic. It does not register with you because of your desire to believe in nonsense.
"school these days tries to replace religion with science,"
No. Religion has been largely removed and science has been added bit by bit, but science didn't replace religion.

Uh, yeah, but that's a good thing. Removing nonsense from education is a positive, Snuffin'Stuff.
School in my days was nothing but religion and Mein Kampf.
Ah, they were the days of yore - whole villages massacred then burned to the ground, people transported to the death camps in thier millions because they "didn't fit in" - and all sanctioned by the church.
If you want knowledge, go to school. That's what schools are for - to learn.
If you want religion, go to church. That's what churches are for - to brainwash.
I have lived under dictatorial theocracy, dictatorial communism (religion not banned as you were told) and now democracy.
Theocracy is the most detremental to humanity of all.
The very worst of the
The "days of yore" huh? Well why don't we just kick your ass back to the stone age? Days of totalitarianism. With science we free ourselves from such self-destructing bullshit. In regards to your logic, your algorithm sir is this...
1)Presented with an idea that isn't provable and doesn't stand up to the scientific method GO TO A.
2)Presented with an idea based on overwhelming evidence GO TO B.
A)Praise the Lord! Tis the will of God.
B)Science is the devil's plaything. Go to A.
And have you ever noticed how much smarter kids are? I remember learning multiplication tables in 3rd grade, kids do in first grade and second grade now.
Most kids are a whiz at computers, much moreso than I.
Every generation grows smarter without religion distorting what they're taught. Hence why you think religion is being forced out of them. It's not really, it's just that they're educated much more than their great grandpappy when he was a lad and had to farm more than go to school

Maybe you are mistaken. School usually teaches what is accepted science, it doesn´t try to replace religion with science.
In fact science taught in school can well coexist with religion, as lots of other countries outside of the USA with less influental religious fundamentalists prove.
It is only the belief of the fundamentalists that the bible is always correct, no matter how ridiculous the claims are, that causes problems (and leads many scientists into beginning to fight such fundamentalism)

Which religion should schools be teaching as fact then? Let me guess, yours?
When I was in primary school (and I went to a public school), we still had bible studies. It bored me to tears. Really, seriously. I was SO BORED.
I think we stopped having bible studies in third grade?
Science class, now...I LOVED science class.
And funny thing, science is NOT what drove me away from Christianity. Other so-called "Christians" drove me away.
Here's a suggestion.
Get with the times.
Confused?
