[Creationists, what is the purpose of the spleen?
or the Appendix? or the genetic ability to regrow severed limbs (that is "turned off"]

Polyester suits, Heinz baked beans, Fanny Craddocks Cook Book and the Truth are not written in the bible either, so I can't tell ya.
Why not have you spleen cut out? As it is part of the immune system, let's watch you die of the common cold, shall we.
The appendix hails back from the days when humans were herbivores. Now we've evolved into omnivorves, our teeth have changed, but the appendix is just along for the ride.
How does your computer work? It's not written in the book so you don't know.
How does evolution work? It's not written in your book so you don't know. Which explains your total ignorance of the subject.
"It's not written in the Book, so I can't tell ya."
So what chapter covers turning on your computer and accessing the internet? If you can't find that either perhaps you should leave.
"It\'s not written in the Book, so I can\'t tell ya."
Do you mean:
1. "I\'ve never read anything except the Bible, so I\'m ignorant of all other topics?"
Or:
2. "I\'m not allowed to tell you?"
I\'m betting strongly on the first one, but you never know...
On the plus side...she's honest. Most fundies would puke out some nonsense with generally equates to "God says too bad for you."
On the minus side...rather than challenging her views and learning something, like any fundie, she's content that anything she'll ever need to know is in the Bible, and nothing else is relevant.
She's going to find herself in big trouble, if she ever has to take a test in school on a subject other than Judeo-Christian religious studies.
Here's a hint, sunny_girl: Jesus is not always the answer.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
