Quote# 51515

[Creationists, what is the purpose of the spleen?
or the Appendix? or the genetic ability to regrow severed limbs (that is "turned off"]

It's not written in the Book, so I can't tell ya.

aaa

Ouch.

Johannes9126

And the reason it isn't written in the "world's most accurate science book" is?

Lilith

Neither is the Internet, so get the hell off.

Yeah, typical fundie. I don't understand it, it probably proves things wrong, but god did it

Polyester suits, Heinz baked beans, Fanny Craddocks Cook Book and the Truth are not written in the bible either, so I can't tell ya.

Why not have you spleen cut out? As it is part of the immune system, let's watch you die of the common cold, shall we.
The appendix hails back from the days when humans were herbivores. Now we've evolved into omnivorves, our teeth have changed, but the appendix is just along for the ride.

Neither are computers so what are you doing messing around with that?

Can you tell us how many legs insects have? That's in the Book.

BTW get off the internet and back in the kitchen.

In your case it's what is the purpose of a brain?
My not, it's the least used item in the fundie intellect.
Did I say "fundie INTELLECT"? Add it to the list of oxymorons.

Mister Spak

How does your computer work? It's not written in the book so you don't know.

How does evolution work? It's not written in your book so you don't know. Which explains your total ignorance of the subject.

"It's not written in the Book, so I can't tell ya."

So what chapter covers turning on your computer and accessing the internet? If you can't find that either perhaps you should leave.

If sunny_girl read something other than the bible, she would know what their purposes are for.

Creationism claims to be science.

So go fucking figure it out and tell me.

11/6/2008 5:25:49 PM

\"It\'s not written in the Book, so I can\'t tell ya.\"

Do you mean:
1. \"I\'ve never read anything except the Bible, so I\'m ignorant of all other topics?\"

Or:
2. \"I\'m not allowed to tell you?\"

I\'m betting strongly on the first one, but you never know...

On the plus side...she's honest. Most fundies would puke out some nonsense with generally equates to "God says too bad for you."

On the minus side...rather than challenging her views and learning something, like any fundie, she's content that anything she'll ever need to know is in the Bible, and nothing else is relevant.

I was in the hospital with appendicitis about two weeks ago. I told my brother about this, and he replied, "God is a noob."

She's going to find herself in big trouble, if she ever has to take a test in school on a subject other than Judeo-Christian religious studies.

Here's a hint, sunny_girl: Jesus is not always the answer.
