"Two words: Home School"
Please, do. Then I get to look at the look on your child's face when I'm running a corporation and ordering McDonalds from their sales window.
"My friend's daughters are in a private Christian high school."
Such schools typically (although not always) have high standards, both in academic preparation and pastoral care. I commend your friend on his/her good choice.
"One of the coaches is a lesbian."
Relevance? I see none.
"At a recent dance, it was sex-with-clothes on the dance floor and the teachers were cheering it on."
As a graduate of a Catholic high school, I can tell you that the teachers would not have been cheering on sex-with-clothing dances. Unless you use 1920s definitions of various types of dancing, in which case, I have an 18-hoop dress that would be the HEIGHT of fashion for Well-Bred Ladies of Good Family (tm).
"We're in a battle for the soul of the country."
Not quite. You WERE in a battle for the souls of the country, which, fortunately, the bad guys lost quite handily.
"We don't have the media or the education system on our side."
True, but self-inflicted. If you would ever look beyond your Bible for solutions to problems, you would find a much more sympathetic audience for your woes.
Overall, yeah, fundie.
