I celebrate with blasphemous drunken orgiastic revelry at Christmas to piss off the christians who stole our pagan holiday from us. I even get a tree and decorate it, one of our other pagan traditions you bastards swiped, and which the bible specifically warns against doing. I think next year I'll make up a nativity scene with depictions of bestiality, homosexuality, drunkenness, drug use, Mary with enormous naked tits, and baby Jesus with a shitty diaper.

Why would we celebrate the birthday of someone we do not believe in? That's like asking why you don't celebrate any of the Hindu holy days.
It's very ironic that you talk about "the god of materialism" and then mention Christmas. What is Christmas? It's all about going to mega-malls and going into more debt to buy more overpriced shit that people don't need. I don't even watch TV between November 1 and Christmas because it's just constant advertising and fucking with your head 24/7 to trick you into wasting money. Modern-day Christmas is the very definition of materialism itself. And hyper-capitalism.

Prove that a 'Hell' exists* first. Ah, but if you were able to do that, then you'd be able to prove that a 'Heaven' exists, and therefore be able to show us this 'God' of yours.
And thus would Christianity be destroyed. Proof denies faith, and without faith, there can be no belief, and all that jazz. Amirite?
On the other hand, if you can't prove the existence of a 'Hell', therefore a 'Heaven' and ergo, a 'God' doesn't exist. QED.

OK, OK, OK. I've been contemplating this for quite some time, and I think I finally get the drift;
If we don't believe in hell, we should go there. And if we don't believe in reincarnation either, we should come back.
It's the commies that believe in (the god of) materialism, not the republicans.
If we don't believe in God or Jesus, we should celebrate them, in God's name and for his sake, during pagan rituals.
