China does have one of the best, mostly unstudied prehistoric fields now.

And since you mentioned freedom of speech why do you suppress scientific study in your flock and elsewhere if you could?

That's the second time recently I have a comment along to lines of evolution came as a result of Greek mythology.
I have probably read more Greek myhology and more books about it than these fundies and yet I still fail to see a connection between the two.
Admittedly the Greek cosmonogy as written in Hesiod and repated in Ovid is more a 'accurate' description, than the Biblical version,but even that isn't really scientific by any stretch of the imagination.

Do you not see the obvious contradiction in your statement? If, by your account, they are allowing things like the theory of evolution then how can you say in the same breath that they aren’t allowing free thought and free speech? I have a feeling that we do not exactly share the same definition for the word ‘free’.

Actually, the proportion of people in various countries (as well as US states taken individually) who accept evolutionary theory does quite strongly correlate with things like the literacy rate, life expectancy, per-capita income and various freedom and quality of life indices. Just not in the sense tvshowclassics seems to think.
