Also it's the fact that they never seem to see the children they speak of as more than a talking point. "That's an innocent child you're killing...or it will be! Why must you be so HEARTLESS!" Never mind the fact that the child will have to like on a medication cocktail from infancy just to survive, can never procreate, lest s/he infect both his/her spouse AND child, and in general will likely lead a pretty miserable existence.
