Actually Evolution says we are descended from a population of pre-humans that evolved into Humans. There was never a first human that mated with non-humans. There is no defined line like you think.

At some point in the distant past (think millions of years) there was a population (of males and females) in Africa that was happily busy procreating amongst themselves. They gradually (as in very, very slowly) evolved over many generations into humans.
There is no hard line between apes and humans.
