Quote# 60354

Nicolas, you say you believe in both God and evolution. Exactly what "god" are you talking about? It certainly isn't the God of the Bible, as the God of the Bible is kind, compassionate, fair, forgiving, and loves unconditionally. The "god" of theistic evolution is wicked, wasteful, and stupid. Why would God use evolution, which is a religion of death, to create things? Also, as far as REAL scientific facts that go against the evolution theory are concerned, here's one for you to chew on: Animals never produce anything but their own kind. For example, dogs never produce anything but dogs. Have you ever seen a dog give birth to a chicken? Have you ever seen a hamster give birth to an apple (or vice versa?). Also, when was the last time you saw a news story with a headline that read like this: "Polar Bear Gives Birth to Cactus"?

You sure haven't read the Bible, have you?

Wow, I'm sure you just sent his head spinning with those thoughtful, totally original points that I'm sure he hasn't heard five million times from other brilliant fundies like yourself.

Well, I think you're living proof that a human being can give birth to an idiot.

Nicolas is at least being somewhat honest intellectually. You look. . . well, look isn't quite the right word considering evolution doesn't work the way you're describing. . . at the piles of evidence for evolution and say it doesn't happen, ever.

There is so much fail in this word salad that I don't know what to say, besides "pass the ranch dressing".

A news story about a polar bear giving birth to a cactus would disprove evolution, you retard.

Okay, I propose we put up a holy commandment ourselves:

"Thou shall not suffer a fundidiot to live"

You picked the wrong example, smart ass. I did once see a polar bear give birth to a cactus. The poor bear never recovered. And the cactus was never worth a damn.

Why do you people pretend you understand science? You have no idea how embarassing it is.

Is your god the same god who ordered the ethnic cleansing of Canaan? Is your god the same god who killed every first born child in Egypt to punish one Pharaoh? Is your god the same god who tortured Job just to prove a point?

If so your god and the god of theistic evolution are totally compatible by your definition.

Which bible is it you're reading there, Chris? Surely not the Christian bible, I've read it and that god is not in any way loving.

I dislike Christians who hate theists that agree with evolution.

Zeph 1:14-15,18 (NIV) "...That day will be a day of wrath, a day of distress and anguish... In the fire of his jealousy the whole world will be consumed, for he will make a sudden end of all who live in the earth."

Sounds like a kind, compassionate, fair, and forgiving god to me.

"evolution... a religion of death..."

You know, that cross thing isn't exactly a candle holder.

And the whole communion thing. Ritual cannibalism.

I will never understand why these people think that evolution works this way. Did they not have any schooling?

....in retrospect, probably not :P

"It certainly isn't the God of the Bible, as the God of the Bible is kind, compassionate, fair, forgiving, and loves unconditionally."

I would like to think that the question that this is a response to would be: "Which god, out of thousands, is the most likely to be the one actually responsible for our existence?".

"Polar Bear Gives Birth to Cactus"?

You fail evolution forever. Considering that you are a creationist, though...not terribly bad.

HA HA HA NO.

"The "god" of theistic evolution is wicked, wasteful, and stupid"
Now that sounds a lot more like the God of the Bible!

I contest this.

As for the second part, congratulations, you have just disproven Pokemon! Now try moving up to actual science.
