Because the best athletes in all sports are Christians.
Oh, Bullshit! Didn't your "god" have a thing about lying, especially in his name?
Does their "god" make them win? Does he intervene on their behalf? If he does then they aren't the "best", they're cheaters dependent on "god" to tip the game in their favor. The best athletes are that because on top of having natural ability they have trained hard to work their way to the top of their sport, but want to take away all their achivements and give all the credit to your "god" as these athletes would be nothing if they were not christian. How unbelievibly selfish.
Do you remember Evander Holyfield vs Mike Tyson?
Yeah, Do you?
The muslim tried to win by biting the Christian's ear off.
It appears you need to be reminded that Tyson was not a muslim at that time. Let me guess? You think he was a secret muslim, right?
It's in the Bible: "Fight the good fight.", not fight the dirtiest, sleaziest fight
So then why do so many fundamentalists use dirty tactics like forcing your religion on people by means of legaslation, or the incessant lying in the name of your "god", and the bearing of false witness against anyone who doesn't share your same politico-religious ideology. You and your kind doesn't know shit about "the good fight".
Other faiths don't know how to fight the good fight
With your obvious bias towards your co-religionists your are not in a position were you can comment on other religions with any degree of credibility.
and so they never make it to the top
Except for all the ones that do.
That's why good athletes like to show the cross.
I doubt that. More often than not I think big name athletes make an overt show of religiosity strictly for monetary reasons. They want the big money endorsement deals and if they come off as anything but a pious christian then you fundies start sceaming about boycotts and the aformentioned endorsement deals move on to the guy who has his religion practically tattooed on his forehead.
