Atheism teaches no such thing. Biology says we're animals, not atheism. And yes, while cannibalism is taboo in almost all human societies it is also nearly always accepted, or at least not derided, when done in a life or death survival situation--assuming the one being cannibalized is already dead to begin with--and there are numerous cases of this happening. Murdering someone so that you could eat them so that you could survive would still be inexcusable to most people.

I feel I should also point out that it's your precious Christianity that has ritualized symbolic cannibalism in the form of the Eucharist, where the "body and blood" of your Christ are consumed during the Communion ceremony.
