The post doesn't even make sense. He gripes about the cost of health care and putting us in debt, then complains that they're cutting a half-trillion dollars out of Medicare. What does this guy want? Everybody gets health care and nobody pays for it?

Mr Obama doesn't look like a thug. He looks very clean-cut and wholesome, like a lawyer or something.
In the popular Fundie novels, the Left Behind series (made into movies starring Kirk Cameron and prominently featuring Rapture theology), the U.S. has Universal Health Care which is used as a key sign that the AntiChrist has arrived. I think this is why the RR loonies are so worked up over health care reform.

I've always thought that if we put people like this in a room with knives and told them to work out a list of what they actually want, there'd be a lot fewer of them to deal with.

Unless I somehow get lucky and a fortuitous smart rap on the head knocks me out and I awaken some time later to find myself back in reality. Or some smart-alec boffin invents a drug that can cure all mental illness without any adverse side effects.
There was no massacre, but, even if there was, I could think of no more appropriate way to celebrate the birth of Christianity.
