I can see this disaster in Haiti being used for Gods glory because I heard from a pastor in Haiti how the people were so poor there they had to eat mud pies now with this disaster the poor people are getting nutritious food they need from all the help they are getting now.
God sure does work in mysterious ways and what the enemy [Satan] used for evil God is now turning around for good and his glory!!!
Praise be to God Almighty how he can turn a disaster into a miracle for the poor people of Haiti!!!

Yeah, it only took the deaths of over 100,000 people, the homelessness of millions, and the intense pain an sorrow caused by such a diasaster. What a merciful god.
So,an all loving god decided to help the poor and starving dirt-eaters by slaughtering and torturing thousands of people? I would think a better way to show his "love and mercy" would have been to prevnt an earthquake and make the land more hospitable to farming --- you know, actually provide food without massive slaughter.... yup, that is some loving god you have there.

Also, your god's a dick. Did he look at all those hungry people and decided that he wanted to feed them. Only, he forgot the recipe for Mana from Heaven and decided an earthquake would do instead?
Actually, most of the survivors are still starving, because Haiti isn't getting enough food and water, nor does it have systems in place to ensure its timely and fair distribution.
You can't just give a fiver to a Haiti relief fund and pretend that because you gave, the problem went completely away. Yes, it helps, but it's a drop in the bucket. Over a million people are homeless as a result of the quake. It takes a long time to rebuild after a disaster of that magnitude. It also requires a lot of generosity from a lot of people, AND a lot of unbiased volunteers to ensure that everyone gets food, regardless of their ideology (hint, hint).

Yes! 200,000+ killed doesn't matter. Corpses thrown in garbage dumps doesn't matter. Intense trauma from survivors doesn't matter. People left without loved ones doesn't matter. Disease, starvation, dehydration caused by the aftermath doesn't matter. "God" helped these people get a little closer back to normal after the disaster he allowed!

I'm pretty sure that most people would find it reprehensible to set fire to a building just so you could call the fire department and maybe run in and save a couple of people yet your god causes untold death and destruction and then everyone else sends aid and your god still fucking gets all the credit.

If God is omniscient and omnipotent the disaster wouldn't have happened anyways. The disaster happened because of plate tectonics. Its like how insects die splattered on the windscreen of my car. Our Swedish Christian Songbird Carola Häggkvist went to Haiti the other day. She brought a gift for her sponsored child there, and made a commercial for The Star of Hope, or something like that, while she was there.
The gift: perfume from Hugo Boss, worth almost 70 Euros. The child is starving and in dire need of an education.
She has said that she was not surprised by the earthquake, as it is stated in the Bible.
