[On Obama]
He is a Liar ! He takes time to go to colleges and our schools cause he knows in college kid's do not pay much attention in what is really going on.but those who are in our colleges as professors of those agenda's they want to push are in their who crab our kids and brain wash them, because they know many kids do not take time to do their own research on many ways. The only research they do ,do is the research the professors gives them to do.
Talk to your children of what they done in schools and colleges and maybe you can stop your child from being brain wash over these thugs !
GOD BLESSS AMERICA..

With poorly written, inarticulate comments like that one, a external Non-U.S observer can only conclude that the United States, in the not too distant future, is now doomed to become the 21'st Century's equivalent of a "Third World" nation, whose poverty so blighted the 20th Century...
In a way, I'm sorry to see this process is now happening to the U.S, as America to my father's generation, was a place of "Dynamic Optimism", compared to the U.S now...
You've never spent time in a college, have you? I mean, they're really for training kids to start their careers ASAP.
Universities, on the other hand...well, it's hard not to leave a liberal since you get exposed to many, many different views on the world. If that shell you built up to shelter yourself from differing views doesn't at least begin to crack during those years, then you've missed out on a big part of the experience.
O-o-o-oklahoma! Where the wind goes whistling through our ears!
Seriously, I grew up there, it's terrible. This isn't uncommon.
Well, given your grammar, I can at least give you credit for practicing what you preach and not going to college, and probably not high school, either.
I've said it once, I'll say it again:
ENGLISH, MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU SPEAK IT?
Um, you do know that GW Bush visited colleges as president, too, right? I know of a local college he visited, and it's not really that big of a school. Guess that was a secret plan to brainwash students into being conservatives.
Sweet!! I submitted this comment after stumbling across it while grading a student's blog assignment (I teach at a university). I am also from Oklahoma, so I got a big kick out of it. BTW, my student's assignment in no way resembled Kelly from Holdenville's post.
college kid's do not pay much attention in what is really going on.
You display a remarkable lack of insight into what university students are actually required to do in order to pass their courses.
Thank you for your tacit admission that you've never attended college and therefore do not know what the fuck you are talking about!
Just a small turn of the screw:
I just posted a comment on that page and it is currently in moderation. Apparently, "extremely poor spelling or grammar could also prevent a comment from appearing."
In my experience, you definitely pay attention to what's going on, and use your head to analyze it. It's called critical thinking. But it's obvious you've never been to college, as you have no idea what it's like, SEC and Midwestern sports schools, bible colleges excepted.
BTW why would someone from Oklahoma write to a New Hampshire newspaper's blog? Do you have nothing better to do with your life than find articles about Obama from whereve and slam him?
.... lol, research projects are getting away from the teacher and looking for independent, unbiased sources (as unbiased as a report can get).
I've actually never had a teacher TEACH me anything in college, excluding my physics classes, most of the teachers came in, outlined a chapter, gave you an assignment to do on your own time and poof, there they go.
My chemistry teacher didn't even stay for 15 minutes, we did an insanely quick overview, he gave us a practice test that he didnt grade to help prepare us for finals and poof, we all leave with an "outside assignment"
You know what I've found, Kelly?
Kids in college really DO know what's going on because they want to change it. It's because they are still somewhat optimistic behind their cynical sneers.
And you know what they're really wanting to change? All this divisive drivel you're spewing because they realize that everything you advocate goes directly against your two-party government.
I consider College helpful in washing away the brainwashing which children often recieve (directly or indirectly) from parents, schools (especially parochial schools), peers, the media, and whatever else forces its own beliefs or agenda on children when they're too young to understand the whole issue. Although certain kinds of brainwashing can't be helped due to unconcious biases, often of parents and schools, others are far more willful in their attempts at forcing a child to take sides.
If I had a fictional god, I'd want him/her/it to bless colleges, because without them, America may as well hang up its mantle as a world superpower. (Pardon the logical fallacy; but the erotion of American education has me very worried about the future of the country if it continues stifling real science education.)
Confused?
