No, I don't have to admit any such thing. Rape is one of the most horrible things that can happen to a human being. I think I'd rather lose a leg than be raped.
It's never over, many rape victims suffer for the rest of their lives. Cancer IS often gone when you remove the tumor. You can't remove the violation of a rape, it's always there.

Years ago as a reporter I covered a case in which a 4-year-old had been raped repeatedly by a family member. Doctors said he would have to wear a diaper for the rest of his life because he would have no control of his shit. On that kid's behalf I say fuck off and die in a fire.
And before you say you're not talking about "homosexual rape/pederasty," the man was a married "christian" pillar of his church.

It's not over for the victims. The victims do carry scars, you just can't see them but they are there nonetheless. I know a victim and she even after more than 10 years still carries them, she flinched and cried when she had to go to the parole hearing (the guy was denied.)

My friend, rape is never over. Someone I grew up with was, unknown to me, raped as a child. Once I knew what'd happened to them a lot of their behaviour suddenly made sense and I could see just how much it screwed them up. Oh, and for the record: she is and always has been a Christian. A Catholic, even. Faith in your god doesn't diminish the pain one iota.
As for the possibility of men raping their wives, it happens all too often. When a spouse says "no" and the other forces them into sex, it's rape. Neither of them gave up their rights when they got married, after all.
