['Humans didn't evolve from butterbeans.']
Very smart indeed.... Shussssssssssh, now listen... I'll let you in on a secret.... Humans didn't evolve from apes either, but keep it to yourself. Especially,
while in PUBLIC SCHOOL. You may be accused of making Children think.

Ryan, you're on a roll aren't you? Those comments might have some use on the message boards I frequent.
Ratman, Isn't it also neat how they can freely interact with us, but we hit a quantum wall trying to interact with them?
And please, don't go near a public school yourself, or you might be accused of making kids stupid by the thought vortex coming from the area where your higher functions come from. Can you name that area?

I think the last things on the minds of those in Eton & Harrow are whether or not they were descended from apes. There's raiding the tuck shop, groping Matron, flushing each others' heads down the bog, giving each other thermonuclear wedgies & dead legs, playing the 'biscuit game' & other whizzo japes, and having the first-year boys as your personal fag. Interpret the last one how you will.
Humans didn't evolve from apes? Good, then you and Evolutionists agree on that. Humans and apes evolved from a common ancestor. (Then again, so did humans and butter beans if you go back far enough)
(Then again again, humans are technically a subset of ape)
@Splintered
No, Humans evolved from a small, monkey-like creature called the Hominid.
As evidenced by the large, monkey-like creature called the Hovind.
second chromosome pair of humans, 46 pairs for humans, 48 pairs for chimpanzees, fusion predicted by evolution, genetics...
teeteedee.
was that that hard?
Butterbeans, isn't that candy? They are made in factories, they are not evolved at all. If it IS some kind of real beans, they are part of the Plant kingdom so human didn't evolve from them.
Humans ARE apes, so no, we did not evolve FROM apes.
You're the ones who don't want kids to think; they might reason themselves out of religion.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
