re: Emma's Fundie, Part 1
I've been helping with babies and daycares since I was 3 and a half.
Horseshit. You may have been toddling around a daycare your parents owned, maybe, but actually "helping" at 3.5? I call shenanigans.
I could have easily cared for a child when I was 12.
Good for you. Since you could havem anyone could have. Now riddle me this. Even now, grown women, with fully developed bodies, die in childbirth. Do you think you could have carried a child to term safely at 12?
I have a daughter. If she were raped and impregnanted, abortion would not be an option and if her life were in immediate danger then it would be a c-section and hoping the baby was far enough along to survive.
Oh, wonderful.fuck your daughter, her life, her happiness and her well being, there's a BABY on the way! She'll have to carry a child she never wanted to term in a risky pregnancy, and if the pregnancy got TOO risky, well you'd force her to deliver the child prematurely via a c-section. What a sterling example of motherhood you are.
I would not for a moment associate the baby with a rapist.
That's nice. What about the other mothers out there who will only see a reminder of the night their precious daughter was violated. You say you're strong enough to differentiate...and perhaps you are. And if so, good for you, I guess. Not everyone is. Not everyone should be forced to be.
I would be perfectly willing to raise the child if my daughter wasn't up to it or if she couldn't stand the thought of being aroud the child because of memories i'd find a good family willing to have an open adoption.
Well, it's good to see your incubator...I mean daughter would have SOME say on the matter.
A baby is a baby.
It's not a baby until it's born. Until then, it's a fetus. Semantics, maybe, but you guys slap the label of baby on a fertilized egg as a method of emotional blackmail.
