Any god would allow evil to exsist because it's a product of free will. Having the choice to make yoru own decisions is better than being a puppet. Now obviously evil actions must be punished by peers and the law to help deter people from commiting such actions.
But then comes the paradox of this man's statement. If the Christian God were to be one of the gods who values free choice, why would he FORCE you to bow or proclaim his name? Heck, why even have a hell for sinners if you're just going to force everyone to worship you in the end?
Also if you're already in hell, what more judgement can you get?

I don't know God exists and I've never seen any evidence of his existence (no your Bible doesn't count, moron) thus my atheism is not an act of rebellion but simply healthy skepticism.
As for bowing before the divine bully, he'll have to break my knees, at which point I'm bowing against my will and it doesn't count.

I've never understood the Christian God. He always comes up with some bizarre, Rube Goldberg way of doing things. He's annoyed with mankind's sinfulness. Does he just poof them back out of existence? No. He has some guy build a huge boat and collect two of each animal (seven of the more edible ones). Then he makes a complete mess of the planet. Then he regrets it and says he won't do it again. And then it doesn't even work, since he had to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah only a few hundred years later.
He wants to help Joshua win a battle. Does he just smite the enemy? No. He makes the sun stand still, then sits back and lets them go on killing each other.

Ah, the old "good, omnipotent and omniscient creator can't be held responsible for what his creations do because mumble mumble mumble" excuse. Pro-tip: Omnipotence, omniscience, and goodness in a creator do not allow for truly free will. This is because either deity in question would be unable to do things that influence people's decisions (not omnipotent), it would be unable to truly predict any given person's fate (not omniscient), or it decides not to intervene despite knowing of harm inflicted or suffered (not good). There is no way that free will can work without one or more of the above three qualities turning into nonsense.
The free will argument is just an attempt to quickly brush things under the rug and pretend that everything is just peachy.
