Public schools in the United States are liberal and atheistic government institutions that employ 3 million people and spend $411.5 billion annually at a cost of $10,770 per student. Spoken prayer, the Ten Commandments, and sharing of faith are expressly forbidden in public schools' classrooms during school hours, and teaching of morality is implicitly disfavored. Homosexual indoctrination is common as early as elementary school in more liberal states. The failures of underperforming public schools are paradigm of socialism, along with landfills and the Canadian healthcare system.

@Osiris-

Yeah, that too. But I'm still convinced that Assfly would have been one of those kids that got shoved in a locker or his head down a toilet on a daily basis, had he gone to public school.

All your paradigm are belong to us.

Schools are supposed to be secular- I only wish they were liberal and atheistic!
Also, we socialists prefer recycling, composting, and clean energy generation to landfills.

Socialism means more than "things that are paid for by tax". That system is more accurately called "social democracy", a "mixed economy" or "welfare capitalism".

I have to admit, it's pretty horrible that poor Canadians can get medical care.

What the fuck... Just what ... the ... fuck...
... is a socialist landfill???

Garbage of the World Unite???

Seriously. Conser-vapidia - Stupid raving lunatic's plot to make a thinking man's head literally explode.

As for the education rant, the Conservative-dominated North Carolina legislature just cut education funding. http://www.npr.org/2011/07/31/138862695/north-carolina-cuts-squeeze-education-programs

You know why, don't you Assfly? It's because stupid people vote Republican even when they aren't the richest 2% and it's not in their best interest to do so.

"The failures of underperforming public schools are paradigm of socialism, along with landfills and the Canadian healthcare system."

Canadian health care system: As we all know, our health care system is the worst in the world, since it's paid for by our tax dollars instead of by the poor sap who just lost his finger. That's why we Canadians are changing things so that Americans can no longer cross the border and make use of the heavily discounted service that we provide. It's strictly for the Americans' benifit, so that they don't have to make do with our inferior system.

Landfills: That's right, fight the power! Throw your garbage in the street like a good red-blooded American!

Morality: Is it moral to marginalize and shun someone because of who they love? Is it moral to be an asshole since you're guaranteed an eternal reward, no matter what you do or who you wrong? Is it moral to lie through your teeth in order to further your own agenda?

I work in a public American school. The reason so many schools are failing is because they get their funding cut if their test scores drop (all thanks to Our Friend Bush). Teachers now have to teach from a dull standardized curriculum which saps their energy and creativity. Then you have schools like the ones where I work in which the majority of students live in poverty. Socioeconomic disadvantage in our society sets them up for failure and it is very hard to work around.

So yeah. Nothing to do with religion being taken out and increasing acceptance of LGTB.

Public schools can't have religious teachings, prayers in it. They're public. Do YOU want your children creating Wiccan amulets/spells or praying on a Muslim prayer rug? Then shut the hell up. You don't get to push your religion on everyone.Get over it.

Oh. P.S Canada's healthcare system isn't perfect, but it sure as hell works a alot better than non-socialized healthcare thank you very much.

I wish they would take the American flag off their logo. They hate the laws, the land, the natural resources, the (few) social safety nets, and a good whack of the people. It really pisses me off when they tell people who disagree with them to "go live somewhere else, then", because they are the ones who hate it here.

MANDATORY, teacher-led prayer is forbidden. But if little Johnnie wants to try to cheat on a test by asking Jesus for the answers he can go ahead and do that. If the students want to arrange a prayer circle between class periods they can do that too. The only things that can't happen are:
1) Teachers can't start preaching/praying loudly to the whole class.
2) Students can't interrupt class with a loud prayer.
But given that Jesus said to pray alone in your room and not in public this is perfectly consistent with your religion anyway so what are you complaining about?

Funny...I went to public schools from Kindergarten through my senior year of college, and I didn't notice any of what you are describing. And this was in the liberal, tolerant Northeastern U.S. (specifically, New York and New Jersey).

Kitzmiller vs. Dover was in late 2005. You lost. The UK's National Health Service was introduced in the late 1940s. We Brits - along with the NHS - are still here (ergo, socialised medicine works. QED).

Deal with it.

Heh. Homosexual indoctrination. In high school it would look less like the inside of a catholic church and more like the Shawshank Redemption what with all our raging rape hormones. ;)

Public schools in the United States are liberal and atheistic government institutions

The fact that public schools don't not engage in religious teaching does not make them "atheistic" in nature, it makes them secular. There is a difference between the two, it's like saying that McDonald's is is implicitly atheistic in nature because they don't give sermons with their happy meals.

Spoken prayer, the Ten Commandments, and sharing of faith are expressly forbidden in public schools' classrooms during school hours

No, they are not. Further ore I challenge you to cite a single american law that expressly forbids a student from praying, wearing a ten commandments t-shirt, etc. What is forbidden is teacher led, mandatory, and sectarian religious expressions. Students are free to pray or witness to other student as much as they want, provided they do not disrupt the class or harass other students.

and teaching of morality is implicitly disfavored

Except for the fact that it isn't.

Homosexual indoctrination is common as early as elementary school in more liberal states.

Please provide an example in which any public school is teaching elementary school students to be homosexuals? Teaching kids that homosexuals are not evil people deserving of destruction but rather normal people like everyone else is hardly "homosexual indoctrination".

The failures of underperforming public schools are paradigm of socialism

You don't have the slightest idea what either "socialism" or "paradigm" actually means, do you?

along with landfills and the Canadian healthcare system.

What do landfills have to do with socialism? Moreover, what to either of those things have to do with the US school system?

Given that I've received multiple mobility-restoring surgeries through the Canadian health-care system (One of which was a cutting-edge procedure that actually worked better than standard treatments), something I'd have to foot almost a quarter million dollar bill for Stateside? I'd say that the Canadian system works pretty well. Conservapedia, lying for Jesus as usual.

I have a sneaking suspicion all these fundies who mention homosexuality more than a gay person secretly have gay fantasies. I imagine if you were to get this mental midget to elaborate on his idea of what homosexual indoctrination is you'd be treated to bizarre and repressed urges. Remember the "Eat Da Pooh-Pooh" video? Didn't it strike anyone as almost like those two guys were speaking from a bit of desire?

It baffles me how people can throw off on free health care as a negative thing. If the US didn't spend all it's money bombing randomly chosen nations, we'd have plenty for a health care system like that.
