Those who haven't accepted Christ like atheist you mention, they do indeed deserve to be left behind..... Atheist I debate with all time make statements about how they hate Christians and how the world would be a better place without us - well they'll get their wish after the rapture... I just wonder if they will like whats coming in the tribulation better?.. I often wonder if they will come to their right minds and repent, but after talking with hundreds of them over the years most of them will be the first ones to follow the anti - Christ for sure.

Correct me if I'm wrong but,

1: The Wholly Babble doesn't actually mention a "Rapture" as you people believe.

2: The Wholly Babble says that only 144,000 Jewish male virgins will be "caught up in the sky" (or some such bullshit).

Seems to me that you're fucked on both counts.

And even, re. Pascal's Wager, I'd be infinitely more terrified about who will be going to heaven, and who will be going to hell. As this little titbit of Scripture states:

Revelation 21:8 (KJV; emphasis added): 'But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.'

That's just the saddest thing I've ever heard. The fact this person actually believes this, while simultaneously believing (I'm betting) his or her god is just, shows she has never thought about it too much. An ETERNITY of torture would be overkill as punishment even if it was for the worst person who ever lived. But Glory believes that everyone deserves that torture, even if they've never hurt anyone in their entire lives, unless they said some magic words and accepted Jesus.

What's really sad is that one of the side effects of this type of belief is usually doubt about whether or not the believer REALLY believes sincerely enough. I would bet that Glory and most of the other RR posters are probably there, in large measure, to convince themselves that they really truly believe so that they can catch the Jesus bus when it leaves the station.

Mayhaps there's a good reason why G.i.(m)p. here referred to the word in the singular: this Raptard once had (barely) the cojones to dare approach an Atheist, asked - with quivering lip - said person a question concerning their (non)-belief, and when he/she opened their mouth to reply, G.i.(m)p. then ran off, screaming in abject terror, at the thought of being confronted by their invincible logic & reasoning that said Raptard wouldn't have been able to counter, thus shattering their fragile membrane-thin 'faith', and being infected by the vile disease of thinking for themself.

Thus G.i.(m)p. here daren't try again. Which is why this one - along with all other fundie twats on Ruptured Retards - hasn't got the cojones to have a proper debate with those who possess infinitely superior intellects. And evidence.

Ergo, G.i.(m)p. here is going to Hell; pants already on fire, and all that jazz. Because the 9th Commandment and Revelation 21:8 says so, and no amount of 'Grace by Faith Only' nor 'OSAS' will save them. After all, James 2:14-26 says that merely claiming to be 'Saved' isn't enough.

But I guess that's why fundie Christians like those on Ruptured Retards are reduced to 'cherry-picking' from their 'Word of God'. They have no choice. Because there are some parts of Scripture that says they're not Christians, but Paulians masquerading under the illusion - certainly the delusion - of being 'Saved'.

...unless G.i.(m)p. here would like to prove we at FSTDT wrong, that is. By spending more time here at FSTDT, than at Ruptured Retards, arguing the toss with us. And that's Atheists, plural.
