I have had an epiphany! I am converted! I am now an evolutionist. And it was so simple! I just turned off my brain, ignored logic, reason, math and probabilities, and put blind, credulous, undiscerning faith in the gospel according to an ape-faced 19th century atheist.

Yeshua Ben Yosef probably had short, cropped hair like the majority of Hebrew men @ the time, and unlike typical Hippies.

Doctor Doom, Evolution has abundant evidence from a very wide assortment of scientific fields to support it.
Climate change "aka" Global Warming, Ditto.
*Blink.
Yea, Sierra is right, by using "blind, credulouds, undiscerning faith in the gospel", terminology usually used to describe the predominant religious dogma on FC, to describe something he hates, he suggests that these are bad things. Even using the word gospel in that context suggests that gospels in general should not be followed.
I'm not sure ol' DoctorDoom (with a 'c' rather than a 'k' this time...significant?) even has well-written retorts. He is able to spell and the sentences he writes seem to have both subjects and verbs.
But his comments make no sense. Even if you were to take the position that modern science was incompatible with evolution (which of course it isn't) the worst you could say is that data that was not available to Darwin and Wallace disprove their ideas. Of course, the reality is that molecular biology has been the source of some of the best evidence FOR evolution, so the good Doctor would be incorrect. By the way he writes this you get the feeling he thinks Darwin proposed evolution by natural selection for no reason and based upon no data. Sad!
You know, I used to find DoctorDoom irritating, but now I think he's pretty funny. Of course, I don't take anything he says seriously, and I'm not in the mood to try to register at FC just to view his comments.
"I have had an epiphany! I am converted! I am now a creationist. And it was so simple! I just turned off my brain, ignored logic, reason, math and probabilities, and put blind, credulous, undiscerning faith in the gospel according to a 1st century fundie."
There, fixed it.
I have had an epiphany! I am converted! I am now an evolutionist. And it was so simple! I just turned on my brain, used logic, reason, math and probabilities, and removed my blind, credulous, undiscerning faith in the Bible according to some crazy old desert-wandering sheepherders!
I have had an epiphany! I am converted! I am now an christian. And it was so simple! I just turned off my brain, ignored logic, reason, math and probabilities, and put blind, credulous, undiscerning faith in the gospel according to an 2,000 year old Jewish man.
Okay, I have a lot of stuff so bear with me.
For one, Darwin was not an atheist. He believed that his theory actually illustrated how the Christian world was created. My mother (and yes, atheists have families) is a PhD in biology, is a lifelong Catholic, and believes that religion and evolution can coexist. ***
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
